    Just search for police motorcycle riding or police motorcycle rodeo competition to see how these bikes can be ridden. It's absolutely amazing. The seat props you up to get better leverage when turning and maneuvering.

      Mine is a 2015 FLHP… I got it in order to complete in police rodeos as a civilian rider… I have turned 15 foot u-turns… I love my Police Road King…

    You're spot on about the seat. It's shape & height are specifically to the riders weight where it needs to be for tight maneuvers.
    I would have used the lights and siren at least once or twice.

    • @harleydave2316
      @harleydave2316 Před 4 lety +1

      There are some states that have only blue. We went to Florida a few years ago and it weirded me out when I saw only blue. I didn't quite know what they were until the car was on me.

      @@harleydave2316 IF you see flashing coloured lights behind you and you have a brain your gonna look. If its Plod you pull over ( or run for the border ) i its Fire or Ambulance make way for them to pass. Personally if i'm riding overseas somewhere ( interstate for you lot ) i'd look up who uses what, in this day and age it takes seconds on the net. Here in the US, police departments will, periodically, turn in their motors & replace them with new models… The turn ins are decommissioned (remove lights, sirens & radios) & then made available for purchase by civilian riders… that’s how I got my 2015 FLHP…

      @James Barrett Ask them which one they'd rather ride, especially in the heat. I used to converse with the commander of the Reno motocops who had retired from CHP. He would rather have a BMW any day of the week, although he said the KZ1000s were pretty good. As far as spares go, it's probably a more recent problem. 4 months sounds a little long even now.
