This is a great topic that needs to be discussed by students from the 80s who were beaten and abused instead of being educated by ignorant and untrained teachers, who have no business of being teachers at all. This was true in the government run schools more than the private ones i believe. I am very glad that despite your teachers, you attained a professional level of education . Thanks to that one good teacher, you changed the trajectory of your life to a better one. Hopefully kids in Ethiopia are dealing with better teachers than the ones we had to deal in the 80s....
