Incursion Red River Update 1.0.14: More AI, Better AI and More!

- Howdy Folks! I hope this finds you well! Today we'll be talking about patch 1.0.14.6 to Incursion Red River. This patch includes a bunch of things like increased AI count, flanking, gameplay fixes and some performance modifications as well.
All and all, I'm cautiously optimistic about this game, and have the mindset of talk is cheap, action is everything. So I truly am hoping that valid criticism and good support can help any developer and game, because this one has so much potential.

Oh I just saw the implosion of Tarkov. As someone who played from 2018-2023, I’m sad that it’s happening, but it’s deserved after this crud. I’m an EOD holder as well.
This game for 13 bucks has already given me a lot of plain fun, so I highly recommend and save the 235 bucks ahah. Thanks for stopping by

would say, secondary "objectives" would be awsome. When you go in raid, some random Quest pops up and you earn extra rewards if you complete all of it.

I bought the game as I want to support the dev's (In fact bought two copies) However I haven't installed yet as it needs A LOT more content and really shouldn't of released in it's current state. Still I actually think this dev team has been open and honest so I actually have faith in this particular dev team.
Games been a blast for me at current state . Many hours in and am getting a bit bored but Excited for more content
Thanks for taking the time to comment! I completely agree! It's been a lot of fun, and I've found my "meta" weapon, but I'm taking it slow since I don't want to burn out too much on one map.
Once this game has multiple maps, factions, guns etc.. we won't even think about it; but for now, I hope the game gets good feedback and valid criticism so the Devs continue on. Hope you're well!

Yes it is and it’s not. You can trick AI with corners usually, but playing the new patch, I was surprised how well they flanked my squad and I. This was outside though, in military base, when we were indoors, we just peaked corners or height advantage.
They are going in the right direction and so far I haven’t been annoyed like I was with tarkov in the days of scav head eyes.. I hope this helps! Let me know if I can be more specific.
Enjoying the extra Ai an patrols, got into a real good fight trying to reach the quarry extract.
Before this update I was quite comfortable going in with only 2 spare mags for my main but now I think I might need to pack a few more

Once putting bullets into empty mags takes time it gonna get really tense. Right now you can just pop in to cover fill all your mags to full.
I bought it's fun bring on the content it might have increased ai count but turn up ai difficulty to see more in settings
Been playing hard core for a bit.
#1. More guns and mods are a must asap, at least 10 to 15 more guns asap not all at once but asap.
#2. At least 2 more maps. The size of the makes should be a little bit bigger than the first one we need more scenery like a city map or a shoreline like map. More maps!
#3. Tasks tasks tasks! More tasks would be so so so good it’s going in the right direction but after a few hours it’s just the same tasks.

the thing id like to see is some weapons and attachements from the vietnam war era since this game takes place in nam id like to see some XM177 MAS-49s M16a1 and a2s grease guns the thumper m60 and other guns id like to see some era scopes and attachements like the xm177s moderators. thats always been my main issue with games like tarkov and others is that they never had a expansive list a weapons and attachments just different flavors of modern attachments
I hear you 1000% I did like Tarkov adding the PPSH a while ago, but you're right, and the vietnam setting is just too perfect not to explore those weapons. I don't think a lot of games do this exploration because people like modern weapons, and that's a shame. Hope this finds you well!
Most of the people you run into in the game seem to be foreign PMCs like you so it's unlikely they'll bring in Vietnam era stuff with them. Not to mention those weapons are super rare these days
@@49mozzer Those weapons are still in Vietnamese militia armories. You can find pictures of dudes doing their mandatory service training with XM177's and assorted franken-AR's with A1 uppers. They run a ton of old American equipment alongside current American, European, and local stuff.

I’m more inclined to buy this game now than I am to buy EFT for SPT AKI, after everything that’s happened
I am having a blast with SP ( playing for the first time) and blown away by the modding and PvE aspect, but if you don’t have EFT, then yeah it’s up to you; I can’t support BSG anymore, and the genre is in desperate need of new developers.
So sad because the vision tarkov had back in 2017 is completely dead. Hope this finds you well, and that you find that new game.

Add more weapons, missions, customization and optimization, i will buy this game togheter
some kind of boss npcs would be cool. obviously a wider variety of tasks and loot as well, i got bored of the task types pretty quickly. more stuff to do in the hideout, upgrades etc. some kind of character progression outside of getting money and guns. some kind of linked search function for attachments like in tarkov. game is fun with good bones but got stale very quick, which is fair because it's early access but I just want to emphasize that it has a long way to go. again I really like the game and it's a great start, but it's just the start. i might be preaching to the choir with that but there have been so many early access games that say they are an alpha/beta and then 1.0 releases after 3 content updates and the game dies, I don't want that for this game.
Yeah it's a sad state of affairs for these early access games, but some do make it through. I'm hoping with a good community of critical feedback and positivity, that we'll get to those goals you spoke about first, I'm crossing my fingers. Hope all is well!

I city area would be nice , like a big costal city , but might be hard
I’d love that to be honest, one of my favorite things about battlefield 4 were those south East Asian island maps, so much fun strategy on beach fronts and large buildings.

I want a factory style map.
Maybe a hanger bay
Or some sort of serious CQB prison map. Cramped hallways with ai that aren't as casual as the normal map they don't talk but you can hear there footsteps. And they faction off and shoot each other sometimes.

I think the game has potential, but I uninstalled the game after day, because not only was the combat kinda boring in the state it launched in, but my 3080ti with 32 gigs of RAM and Ryzen 7 5800X was struggling to maintain an even frame rate, causing me to start feeling motion sickness, which has never been a problem in my 40 years of gaming.
I don't want to dissuade anyone from getting the game, but at least for me, I needed some optimization and the AI to get sorted out because the AI was doing some very weird things, and I would get killed scoping in and my FPS suddenly dipping into the 20's and getting my shot.
I agree with you 100%, its interesting because after the first week there was a major patch, and I thought that it would be sort of the norm. Now after a month has past, and only seeing some animations come out of the discord, I too have uninstalled and will be waiting for new content. I hope this finds you well.
Only bug I've come across is mouse drift here and there, other then that I'm enjoying the game

Honestly I love the PVE idea of this, cause Tarkov was too much time for me to invest in even though I loved it. But for this game, for it to have a digital manual that explains A LOT of the game in text for those people who need help and make a lot of mistakes jumping into the game for the first time. Just put it in the options menu. But this game looks very promising! I just hope they keep adding enough to keep it from becoming stale for constant players. If they can't get a new map out for a long time, just make the current map have different weather situations. That will make it feel completely different if done right.
Also if they are trying to go the route of Tarkov, custom load out that you lose if you die that's from your own inventory, or the provided load out but can't return with any items from the raid, they should atleast give players a secure container that limits the items you can bring back whether you die or not or use a provided load out. I mean retaining the reward for the job with a provided load out doesn't always pay off, some rewards aren't substantial enough it feels like.
Also I'd like to hear more audio cues from the AI, and an improvement on the sound in general, it's not awful or even bad, it just at times sounds odd, like it's too quiet at times and the AI voices don't sound like they are in the space the model is in. Sound design can really make a HUGE difference in these games.

TARKOV is nothing but hackers... FUK IT... Insurgency Sandstorm for the win... hoping this game grows in the right direction... am thinking of getting it while it's on sale
yeah i also wanted to try it but i have burned so many times with beta alpha version of the games that now i think twice before spending my euros.
