There's got to be some kind of erroneous skew on that all time high data out performing any other day. That literally makes no sense. What would the data look like if you applied purchases on a portfolio that consistently purchases in their portfolio and never sells? That person captures around the highs and lows, arguably then that persom would do better than someone who only bought all time highs... literally sounds like the moral of the story is just invest and never sell.
I would love to see economic growth adjusted for annual deficits.
If you are at all time high, it means there is really little room to grow, and a lot of space to go down

I follow TA and a lot of people do opposite of this it should be taught but high sell higher sell low cover lower usally youll be doing counter trend if you sell and try shorting at the top because the trend is still up 9/10 times its just a pull back the question is how big of a pull back

A few weeks ago, I switched to the Russell 2000, which is still 16% below its all-time high. When the Russell 2000 finally recovers, it can be violently rapid, like 100+% increases in a year coming out of the GFC and COVID dips
I believe, based on both historical trajectory and PE ratio history, there's still 50-70% upside over the next couple years as the Fed starts cutting rates (smaller companies are more sensitive to interest rates), the market starts feeling more confident a recession isn't imminent and is willing to take on more risk, and as investors start to fear the high valuations of large companies right now
I heard there are lots of regional banks in the russell. Could be an issue.
