I do believe it is pronounced with a long 'i', like in bride. You did a review of their song Dear Bride a while back. Just invert the title and make it one word. I like the song. Haru got to express herself a little more with her bass and growls. Natsumi is really shining on this album so far, but they all have their moments.

The music video doesn't do much for me, either (then again, most don't). A little music video/single contrarianism is fine by me. 🙂I think people miss out on a lot by focusing on songs that have these videos.
This song, on its own, honestly had to grow on me. Eventually I was hooked by the guitar lead and the stops in the chorus. The short solo is a good way to mix it up without just not having a solo. Come to think of it, though, this song (and maybe one or two others) probably could've done without a solo -- maybe a 6/4 section as in previous songs Kimi's written, or some other time signature.
I'm generally picky about harsh vocals, but I like the use here (from Bridear in general, actually). I think the effect for emphasis is there in the pre-chorus, though maybe more so the first time around because that verse is all in straight time. I also like the call-and-response with the two vocal styles.

For me it's the weakest (but still good) song of this album. Best for me are: Braver words, born again, empty minds and real is real (seems like i like the songs Ayumi is credited for the music the most). The rest is really good, too. It's nice to just start the whole album and listen to it entirely.
