    JPMC hiring people with past criminal records but here in India if we have career gap we are treated like criminal

      Ye badi ind mncs ne purane rule lekar baithi hai , gap nhi chahiye ye wo .. update Karo policies aur start . Ab reason koi bhi ho gap is natural thing kabhi kabhi na chahke bhi Gap aajata career me toh kya logo ko reject Karo ge .. multiple switch Maro Paisa kamao ,save Karo alternate source create Karo , jab tak chalega chalne do job aur baad me ye sab gap Wale reason ka koi asar nhi padta, koi koi client /companies ko experience honey ke baad bhi skill ka /technology ka certificate chahiye nahi toh interview bhi schedule nhi karte

    Because of TCS, most Engineers don't want to join private companies and instead run after govt. job.
    These companies should be banned as they pay peanuts and fire any time.
    They have ruined the Engineering reputation and are hurting the economy
    No job security. No work-life balance.
    3.5 LPA is nothing in Bengaluru/ MUMBAI.
    Isse better to pakoda bech lo.

      TCS forcing people to join or people joining TCS? Just a simple question. If you are not satisfied with 3.5 lpa, then simply don't join. Companies are here to make profits, if they are able to get freshers at minimal salary, how are they wrong. However, tcs also offers 7 lpa and 11 lpa to freshers on digital and innovator cadres.

      A company that hires a good number of freshers every year and that too with absolutely no relevant it skills should be banned? TCS unlike its counterparts have offices across India even Lucknow and Patna have fully functional offices. If you don't want to go to Mumbai/Bengaluru then one can easily go to their nearest location which is not the case with many companies specially the 70 ghante wala company where you have to go to office thousands of miles away

      They hire freshers in America and Europe with no relevant degrees or skills and give them 100k salary why can't they pay living wages to INDIANS . They just making money from poor INDIA employees.
      As they know they have nowhere to go.
      In AMERICA they are giving so many grants and scholarships to universities but they won't pay a penny in INDIA.
      Most TCS management team is AMERICAN and only care about AMERICANS.
      ANd no they don't give projects to your hometown intentionally as it would mean you won't work extra hours for free.
      That's why they don't hire married men and women who are mothers.
      Also they fire women who are on maternity leaves, engineers who wants to pursue masters.
      2 year gap is to show if you dare to pursue GOVT JOBS you won't get hired in TCS ever.
      Infact they don't even hire IITs as they are too smart to be tamed.
      TCS is also 70 GHANTA wala company btw

      1) What about unethical firing.
      So many who left their well paying jobs to join TCS and then put on bench and later fired.
      Now they have to start at a lesser salary and hard to find a job.
      Can they compensate.
      In EUROPE and AMERICA they can't exploit workers as there are rules but in INDIA they can do whatever they wish.
      2) Yes companies are here to make profit but don't understand why they are openly lying no firing policy and saying INDIANS are unskilled. There should be an RTI how much they are spending on training.
      Most ENGINEERS are made to do mere copy paste tasks and they're are no trainings either.
      They lie in their JD but will fire employee based on background verification.
      Better stop lying
      DOn't hire if they are unskilled.
      You have 1 year gap so you are unskilled now.
      Are you really hiring ENGINEERS or just TECH SUPPORT.
      Make it clear.
      3) Yes TCS gives 7 LPA too but they are just a small fraction and mostly fired earlier.

      You say that because you are in a tire 1 city you have no idea about the amount of people waiting for tcs in tire 3 cities

    I selected in TCS. They asked me different documents. HR agreed on 12 LPA. One day HR callled me saying that you are not selected.
    I was surprised 😯. What kind of TCS is...😅😅😅😅

    It takes courage to say this, and you are also raising awareness about tricks that many IT shops/companies use to exploit employees (or take advantage of employees' situations by some unfair way).

    My take on TCS would be the developers who used to work with legacy technologies (which are obsolete now) has been promoted to managers. These fresh grads got great exposure towards niche technologies from the very beginning of their school/college days, so there is no way these folks will want to work with those obsolete technologies (which is right thing to do). In reality clients not being so adaptable towards new technology is directly proportional to this skill gap. Skill is there the gap is due to these obsolete, legacy technologies😅

    My project had 300 associates, 170 of them left in just one year due to pathetic management and inflexibility. Despite this, not once any HR or higher management reached out to us. The project management even forced people to stop sending signing off mails as it was demoralising the remaining associates.

    I have 3YOE..
    I am working in cyber security project.. but i want to switch to developer as I have no interest in cyber security..
    I have done android development in past and built 2 3 apps (native).. so I want to switch as a mobile app developer.. but now confused as should I continue with native app development considering my previous background.. or should I learn hybrid app development (this I will have to start from scratch)..
    Please I need genuine advice..
    ALso please consider google's take on KMM while suggesting anything.

    TCS indirect layoff kar rahi hai ,80000 skill gap hai toh retain Karo L and D department ko active Karo skill gap fulfill karne keliye, aur kuch career gap hai toh logo ko reject Karo or shortlist matkaro ye sab purani policies change Karo log hi lig hai bahar baithe hue .
    TCS kisi ko nikalti nahi , Lekin indirectly situation create karti policy ke naam pe ya Jo kuch hai ..toh indirect layoff karti Aisa lag rha
