    Do you have any exercises to improve your footwork?
    I mean to be lighter on your feet and faster.

    A lot of people teach "what" to do but it's really helpful to get the "why" in there as well, so thanks for that!
    It sounds crazy but after over a year of playing every week, I finally realized about a month ago that the "step" forward in the volley is to rotate your shoulders (as you mentioned in the video). In most other shots, we accomplish the same body position by stepping backwards, so I didn't connect the dots that at the net the same can be done more quickly by stepping forwards. Never realized that it also helps a lot with reach, which is a great point too.
    Lately I've been noticing I get caught hitting the ball while running forward a lot. Run - run - stop is definitely something I need to focus on.

    Talking about footwork, I see you are wearing the Nox shoes. How are they ? I have heard good things and that they are similar to the old Adidas solecourt boost. A review perhaps sometime soon?

    Now that i see you using the Head Delta Pro, may i ask how you review this racket? I've considered buying it (previously i used the Alpha Pro and Alpha Motion). Specifically i'm wondering whether or not it is hard to hit the sweet-spot in this racket? I'm a fairly advanced player, but i'm still worried about my defensive skills (specifically the off-center hits with my backhand) with this racket. Hope you can help me out with some guidance😃

    • @EverythingPadel
      @EverythingPadel  Před rokem +1

      Yeh sure Martin, so the sweet spot is quite big to be fair, quite easy to get a good feel and power. Rough surface as well, it feels well balanced

      @@EverythingPadel So do you think it will be possible for me to adapt to the Delta Pro, when i've been using the Alpha range for 1 year+, or will it take a considerable amount of time to adjust to the diamont-shape and power-feel?

    • @frisco4572
      @frisco4572 Před rokem +1

      @@martindk444 in my opinion is you’re going to get the delta pro going from alpha you should go towards the delta motion, same shape and rough texture and for my personal experience i find it easier to hit hard and fast due to the lighter weight

    Do you have to move preemptively?
    When I'm playing players that hit relatively hard and low balls it can occur that i'm too late to step in.
    I always wonder if I should try to 'guess' where they're going to hit and move as soon as they hit the ball?
    Or are my reflexes just too bad ?

    • @EverythingPadel
      @EverythingPadel  Před rokem

      Yeh a bit - try and judge the spin the players are putting on the ball , if backspin, then you will know it will be a low ball, but if topspin or flat, just ball will come up a lot more. You will naturally get better overtime - everyone is late when they are new to the sport!

      @@EverythingPadel Yeah it's especially on the return when my partner serves that 99/100 times I know the returning player will shoot cross court. Yet i'm too cowardly to just step in when he hit to the middle and hit that ball at net..
      I guess I should just try it out untill it fails? Or am I not supposed to lunge to the middle ?

    Great tips! A good way to get subscribers is to ask the audience to Like the video before the middle of the video. Keep up the good job!

    • @EverythingPadel

      True but I don’t want to waste anyone’s time , I hate those videos that you click and they ask for likes straight away haha, just get to the point
