@@MS45636 definitely still feeling best when I eat beef. I eat an egg or two per day as well, and mix in other protein sources like salmon, tuna, chicken and Greek yogurt, but again beef is the favorite for satiety and taste 🔥🍖👌
Yes lamb is nutritionally even better than beef, tastes better, and in the UK (where I live) it's also grass fed most of the year round by default ( you can't keep lambs / sheep in giant sheds very long before they get too stressed and suffer health problems). Over here it's only marginally more expensive than beef
@@robertwhite2449 that’s great 👍 but technically beef is nutritionally more dense on average, plus higher creatine and heme-iron. I believe lamb is higher in copper and other minerals tho so there are benefits to both tbf.
Really informative video, but solely based on US food. I live in New Zealand where things are somewhat different. No GMO, no antibiotics in chickens, no battery farmed eggs, no pig crates and grass fed beef and lamb. Still pesticides though on non-organic products, but no matter how harmful, NZ is NOT the US when it comes to food safety. I'm so thankful for that.
Okay ! We get it! You’re awesome👏🏼 👏🏼 No need to look at us here in the US so negatively. We have to fight against big pharma, big agriculture and big government. But we also have the bravest people that will never stop fighting for our right to have quality food
So happy to know that eggs are one of the best sources because I don't have access to grass-fed or whatsoever beef , chicken or fish. I have always loved eggs and can eat them anytime. Hopefully they don't cause any adverse health issues.
Sad to tell you this but the eggs have to be good quality as well. If they're the usual corn / soy fed eggs the fatty acid profile is going to be horrible.
I have a suggestion for a video topic but it's an extremely tall task. I think you might be the type of guy that would enjoy it. Yesterday I tried to look up the different cuts of red meat (like a "butcher chart.") As I researched each one I noticed that they had different macronutrient and micronutrient profiles. So I know broadly speaking it's good to eat red meat, however surely there would be a hierarchy within red meat. There's no videos that I'm aware of or even websites that have really dived into the Weeds on comparing each cut. It can go super deep too like there is 3 types of "round" (roast) + 3 types of "round" steak. Same for Sirloin (top, bottom, etc). I guess my hypothesis in wanting to dive into that topic is that i imagine there is even a way to add variety to which red meats i eat in order to optimize health. Just an idea you might find useful bc that's information I'm currently seeking and can't really find.
I love beef. Just about the only way fit to eat chicken anymore is fried. I dont really have access to lamb or goat but I do get venison on occasion that's really good. I think your channel is really gonna grow, be patient they will come.
Yes my go to is beef and lamb I also use whey protein just one scoop a day in Greek yoghurt. I from uk and we have a lot more regulations on what can go into animal feed.
What about bison? what about eating pineapple and papaya to make proteins more bioavailable? What about Bovine organ meat, such as heart and liver What are your thoughts on grass fed ground beef versus grass fed steak. Is there a big difference? Or am I fine just eating grass fed ground beef? Also, can you do videos on which plants have the most anti-nutrients? Such as spinach containing oxalates and the absorption of calcium. Fantastic video by the way thank you
Not Sure I understand how eggs can be good for you if it comes from chickens that you said are not fed a good diet so how can their eggs be good for us?
Actually a good protein source is a good whey powder, highly absorbable, a good protein shake in the morning of 60 g of protein is a great way to go from catabolic to anabolic and encourage muscle synthesis. Then the rest of the day just use common sense salmon is good for you, green vegetables, I do eat some cardbs wild-caught blueberries I like them Frozen they are my little treat. Then steak and eggs are great for you as well they're Nature's multivitamin they sustain life
Could you put out a video addressing people's concerns around eating red meat and the many negatives like heart disease, alzimers disease etc. I would like to replace chicken with beef but this is a real worry for my health down the line.
You should really do more research. But in short, it’s quite literally the opposite. Red meat is extremely healthy for heart health, Alzimers, etc. It is rich in essential nutrients and fat-soluble vitamins, especially the fat.
Hey Tristen! I'm actually in the process of putting together some more videos right now. Took a break for a bit - had kiddo #2 and things got a bit busy. Still doing the PE Diet and enjoying it too. Hoping to put up more videos on a consistent basis. If you have any requests or suggestions let me know!
I like salmon and good burger.sardines delicious too.I try to eat animal and plant foods so I get best of both worlds.I like seafood and beef better than poultry.I only eat poultry sometimes.
Probably beef and eggs. I have to agree that it's hard to find good quality pork. There's a company here in Hawaii that gets pork from local farms here but it can be quite pricey.
Grass fed grass finished ground beef is a cheap and great option and can be used in so many different ways. Can be enjoyed in burger form with with raw cheese or kefir and you can buy in bulk and freeze if necessary. Also wild caught frozen fish bought in bulk can be a cheaper option. Frozen is a great option too because it will most often have been flash frozen and be incredibly fresh because of this where as fish that wasn’t frozen has been sitting out in refrigerator temps for a while.
So beef is #1 source of protein but for the PE Ratio, chicken wins, correct? On another vid, I saw a super high PE ratio for chicken vs beef. When I see PE i always used to think price to earnings. Now...Protein/Energy. Lol
On the last protein you said is the best I agree but we have to agree to disagree because you're number one protein on the planet Earth is grass-fed grass-finished liver if you do to study on that liver you'll find out it's full of more vitamins more amino acids more everything than anything else on planet Earth I would say I would say the second best would be wild caught in oysters research and you'll find out and I would say number three is beef but I do generally eat a lot of beef grass-fed grass-finished only grass-fed grass finished beef
I was avoiding eggs and beef for a long time due to mainstream media, but after getting more informed changed and I've never felt better 😊☀️🔥💪
that's great!

Grass fed beef, goat and pasture raised eggs and pork. Butcherbox or white oak pastures.

If you see this. What is your opinion on venison? I would argue it is one of the cleanest meats out there, especially if you harvest it yourself:)
The best is lift heavy stretch take care of your movement then the body can take most sources without problem.

does it rank the same as grass fed beef since it is red meat aswell?

How can chicken be not so good due to the “feed” argument but eggs coming from said chickens are so much better
