      Same here, also recall when it looked like he could've been released several times due drug screening but Vince kept him because of his talent. As he said Vince saw something in him seems so close to what happened with HBK. Glad they both Cleaned up as Randy is so much happier now.
      Still want to see him break Ric Flairs record as he's got the talent and Cena isn't going for it plus don't see anyone else near that close.

    • @nfindc
      @nfindc Před 2 lety

      @@conniecarroll747 I can't speak for Randy, but I think out of respect for what Ric instilled in him as a young talent and simply because it's Ric Flair, he might tie Flair and Cena's record, but he won't break it. With that said, Vince has been known for crossing sacred lines, I.E. "Black Sunday", and he might decide Orton is the one to go there. I honestly don't want to see that happen, but that's what the business is about, putting the fans on a Rollercoaster and suddenly veering in a direction we didn't see coming.

Listening to this interview, right out of the gate…one of the comments he made about longevity really hit me a certain way. I remember watching an interview with the Undertaker talking about how he gave randy the advice to stop flying off the top and so forth…it’s crazy to me to see how his technical ability and knowledge of wrestling beyond his generations translates to him being one of the best workers of all time…and to think at one point m, he really was a freak of nature. At his size, I remember watching him do a standing drop kick to Kane thinking…this guy is a freak. But he definitely deserves everything he’s worked for. He’s one of the best of all time.

    This interview was awesome and felt like two buddies just chilling and talking. McAfee is a hell of a talker and looks like he can wrestle too. I’ve been to several live Raws and live events and seen Randy Orton like 3 or 4 times and as smooth as he looks on tv, he’s even more fluid watching him perform live in the arena. The first time I saw him was a Smackdown taping in 2002 which was his debut and even then he was over as a rookie. Each time I saw him at a later event, he got better and the crowds cheered him even when he was a heel going up against popular babyfaces. Orton is one of the few people from when he started still actively wrestling. Once RK-Bro breaks up as a tag team, WWE would be dumb to not put them in a feud for the WWE championship.
