Thanks for having Randy on. What a rare interview! What a legend. Still remember him as a young brash cocky rookie, now a veteran of the game. Love it!
Get well Randy
@@sasogorelick What a weird spot to post this
This isn't rare...it's widely available.
He might be a veteran of the game but it’s really embarrassing to see what they are doing with him now. He should be doing something much better than a stupid comedy act. WWE is basically a nickelodeon show now so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. 🤷♂️
@@tonyace4507 I mean I honestly didn’t think Randy could be a comedy act, so it’s kinda cool to me to see him extend so much. Plus, when he turns on Riddle, it’s gonna be amazing.
I don’t watch wrestling anymore and can’t see myself doing for the foreseeable but always worth listening to Randy Orton, absolute legend.
His still holding onto kayfabe 2022 is something i really really respect.
Have been watching WWE because of Randy Orton
Gotta watch aew
Honestly, even I would have stopped watching as well but I'm still watching cuz of Randy Orton, I still believe that he is gonna break ric flairs record.
@@krishnahirani3305 He got to break the invisible dudes record first. Plus Flairs real record is impossible. Title changed like a mothafucka back then, wwe only counts a select few
The art of interviewing people is becoming a lost art . The one thing Ariel knows how to do well when doing an interview is shut up and let the interview breathe . He doesn't constantly interrupt his guest with dumb questions, he asks the right questions and just let's the interview roll. Great interview on both ends !!!!
Well said
The beauty of the interview was Ariel letting Randy speak without interuption. Randy has a lot to say, no-one ever hears him like this. Well done Ariel, thanks Randy.
This was the interview I didn't know I needed. Randy really gave us the game.
He went from a young dude with no respect to one of the locker room leaders, one of the most respected guy 🙌🏼
From arrogant,cocky to respected superstar
When I first started watching WWE was just before this guy became the youngest world champion at Summerslam 2004 and now he's about the age Shawn Michaels was at that time. That's how long he's been around, wow. Respect.
But it's fake 😂 it's not a legit accomplishment
@@jordan8985 It's not won in legitimate competition, but only those who can draw money and viewers and have the tools to be a top guy in the business are given the World Title. Most pro wrestlers won't ever sniff that title, so it is still an accomplishment.
@@jordan8985 Why do Y’all exist?🙄
@@jordan8985 don’t watch any movies or tv then. Or just try to enjoy yourself and keep rockin n rollin muffin man🤘😎
I’m in the same boat as u brotha it’s so crazy to see how Randy has grown and the business itself better or for worse. Oh and yy homie ur a clown lol go hate on something else u know nothing about
Ariel's ability to make his guest comfortable but also hold his own when talking to other less friendly guests is unmatched in this space.
Randy Orton is a true legend. One of the few modern day wrestlers who deserves nothing but respect...
As a MMA fan, I can’t help but to respect someone like Randy. Such an iconic part of my childhood including with many other pro wrestlers from that era; I’m sure many others would feel the same. Refreshing to see and hear from the Legend Killer after all these years. I can appreciate these type of interviews. Kudos to Ariel !
Great interview 🙏🏼
THE GOAT HIMSELF
Randy orton as a veteran sharing his experience … it’s kinda weird but it’s great … I want to see him in this posture more often
Absolutely, Randy Orton is the man 🙌
Wow Randy is so down to earth and relatable. Never tries to come off as anything more than he truly is - it felt like listening to an actual person share his introspective thoughts, not a celebrity owning up to a persona.
What a fascinating insight into Randy Orton. A living legend in the wrestling business.
Damn Randy is humble AF
Grew even more in my eyes
Wow I would never of guessed Randy would be so down to earth. So vulnerable and apologetic for things that weren't a big deal like when he would ramble, which I honestly loved. But seriously blown away amazing interview from both parties.
It’s crazy to see. I remember Randy in the 00’s. He was the complete opposite of now. His rep is legendary.
@@Leg3ndKilla687 he was notoriously a mess and kind of a diva, hes truly more mature now and encroaching onto legend status, and a father. I wouldve never guessed 2000s randy would become this.
Old age has gotten to Randy
I could tell he was a down to earth guy by how he is and comes off in his promos
@@rima7286 not a diva but a cocky as dude back in the day
Randy is an absolute class act! The fact that he knows where he came from and is there for the guys who dont have family running through the business just shows just how much of a man Randy really is. By far one of the best wrestling interviews EVER!
Great interview. Randy gets better with age, both in the ring and out of it.
For over 20 years in wwe now. Some would say his best year was 2020. Which is a top 3 year along with 2007 and 2009.
@@Leg3ndKilla687 2007 when he wrestled at ECW One Night Stand NYC Hammerstein Ballroom. He almost got booed out of the place. He was prime Orton Heel man IMO.
@@Bear-pw7nu Orton from 2004-2005 to 2011 was crazy that era in general was amazing.
Ariel is killing the game, love it
Randy Orton is universally praised by his peers and legends before him as one of the absolute best. But the dude still has insecurities about doing interviews, that’s pretty damn badass to admit.
INTERVIEW OUTTAAAA NOWHERE !!!
This is honesty. Well done Orton! 👏
I grew up a huge WWF/WWE fan and Randy Orton was always one of my favorite wrestlers, thanks for this awesome interview!
He still is
Amazing interview, really cool to see the real side of Randy Orton.
Amazing hearing a real conversation with someone that I’ve watched majority of my life, he’s exceptional at letting everyone see the real truths of his work and life... Randy Randy Randy!!!
So glad he acknowledged his privilege when it came to making it in the wrestling industry . A lot of privileged people like to pretend they worked harder than most to get to where they are . Props to Randy such a down to earth guy , deserves all the success he has now
So unfortunate that this guy didn’t acknowledge his privilege when posting this comment. A lot of privileged people like to pretend like they worked harder than most to be able to post here. Shame on this guy. 4/10.
@@xaviersanchez3498 lmao
@@xaviersanchez3498 u mad bro
I thought it was really humble and frank of him to acknowledge that and also give props to the other guys who had it hard...showed a lot of humility
''privileged''.... he worked hard and did whatever he wanted to do... no one is ''privileged''. He had an opportunity and went for it.
Ariel is one of the best interviewers in all of sports.
This was an excellent interview Ariel. Randy is definitely one of those rare once in a lifetime pro wrestlers that has a body of work that any aspiring talent can learn from. I've seen quite a few of Randy's interviews on CZcams and it's always cool to see him unwind. I love hearing about his development not just as a performer but as a man. Good stuff!
Considering that Randy and I are the same age, I'm few months older than him. Randy is one of my favourite wrestlers of all time. He's that great. So great he's in my rushmore. He should do this interview more often. Great job Ariel ....
Ariel upgraded after Espn
One of the last remaining OGs of the game. The youngest ever champion in WWE history.. the Jon Jones of the WWE 🐐
Randy’s rambles we’re so great to listen. Great interview!
I can sit down and listen to Randy speak for hours! I’m glad he took the time to share some personal stuff and some insight about the industry. He’s the epitome of a legend! Shout out to Ariel for asking intriguing questions and allowing the guest to speak without interruption.
Don’t even even watch wwe anymore more of a ufc fan now but this guy is a og i found myself watching the whole thing
Same
When kayfabe died wrestling started fading
@@katana_3558 true i stopped watching it around 12/13 then a year or so after i started watching mma only a few fighters know i know them all and watch all the important events u should try watching it i feel as if it has a realness behind it something wwe lost a while back
Randy has arguably 3 hall of fame careers in his career
A lot more than that I think.
Great interview with randy orton im a huge orton fan no matter heel or face i dont normally comment but very rare to see orton in an interview he is such a legend ty randy for all the great times looking forward to 10 more years of epic moments no one like orton
Damn, I appreciate how honest randy was. Great interview!
From 2007-2009 I legit thought wrestling was real and it was heartbreaking when I found out it wasn’t😂 still my dream job though!
It's highly physical and demanding, though.
@@vladdascalescu I know and that’s what’s fun!
What would your finisher be?
No hollywood, no mma, no football, no anything else than wrestling, not even other promotions. Talk about dedication and passion
If my whole career was literally guaranteed just because, I wouldn't go anywhere or do anything else either...
So Honest, Respect Him Even More NOW
What an interview. And i'm not a current fan of the product, but I loved this. So honest. Ariel with another BT Sport home run.
If there’s one person was should surpass Ric Flair’s tally of world titles, Randy Orton is that person, I was really hoping he would win the royal rumble on Saturday, Randy Orton vs Roman Reigns at WM would’ve been one the biggest matches in WrestleMania history
Randy's a natural for interviews, i could've sitted here for 3H listening to this man
Randy Ortonr will forever be my favourite pro wrestler because he didn't use the business just to launch his career outside of it, taking years off and then coming back when he needed a free plug. Instead he remained loyal to pro wrestling and had a long career, paying his dues and putting young guys over when it was time. That's why 20 years later he still reasonates with the fanbase, no matter his position on the card
Brilliant interview from both sides. Very insightful and shows just how much Randy has changed. A legend in the ring, and a real man and father outside it. His acknowledgment for having privilege says a lot about him. Brilliant piece!
This was awesome!! No longer The Legend Killer, just The Legend!
Brilliant interview. Randy comes across so humble. What a guy 👍
This was a great interview. I listened to the whole thing and I'm not even a big wrestling fan. Only vaguely knew who Randy is, but he seems like a very nice genuine person.
Real, honest opinion, utmost respect, this guy has shown another genuine side of him that only his family and colleagues get to know, well done Helwani putting this interview together....vibe
a bonafide legend ,future 1st tier hall of famer , awesome interview !! randy orton(rko) absolute pro
U have 2 have him back on . Never mind the legend killer he is A LEGEND in his own right
Ariel always delivering great interviews but randle was giving a lot of talk in which I enjoyed :)
This was an awesome interview
Helwani honestly deserves more credit as a pure interviewer. He knows exactly what to say to come across respectful but questioning and it works so well in wrestling
The man who deserves to break ric flair's record.
This was one of the most awesome interviews I ever heard with a wrestler, Not to mention one of the best of all time and one of my favorites🙂. The fact that he does not do these type of things and to hear a lot of insight and a lot of honesty in his part of his past and current situation was fun fun fun to listen to! Great job Ariel!!
Man I love Randy, I grew up watching him turn from a young start to a veteran! Great to have experienced his career
What an interview. Quality from Randy and Ariel letting his guests speak without any interruptions is incredible
Awesome of him to do this his interviews are always fun. Very much more mature than his earlier days lol. ..can’t wait to listen to this later…Legend
My god this was special! Thanks for opening up the viper!
always love hearing from Randy, I need to get back into watching wrestling just because of Randy
Great interview Ariel, Randy Orton one of the all time WWE greats 👏👏👏
Randy Orton 2022 royal rumble winner great interview and good talk aswell
Lets make It very clear, Randy Orton is one of the best wrestler EVER 💪🔥✅ GREAT INTERVIEW
awesome interview need more randy orton interviews and more helwani meets
such a cool interview with the Legend....who kills LEGENDS, Randy Orton, man is wild to see Randy now, love this dude since day 1 I first discover him, still one of my favorites despite not watching WWE anymore, good to see how much Randy have mature and seasoned with a lot of experience now.
I loved how he talked about Riddle. It makes so much sense lol
I love his openness and honesty
I stopped watching Wwe 5 years ago, but watched this whole thing. Cool interview.
Great interview as always. I'm very happy for Randy and anyone who lasts that long in this crazy business.
What a great interview, definitely another one should be in the works with him, but a bit longer!
I hated this guys growing up cuz of his character but watching this makes me like him now lol I believed it
This one was literally outta nowhere 🔥
Awesome interview with Randy Ariel
Best interview I’ve seen in a long time, Randy orton is truly a legend
The honesty and zero ego Randy showed when he said he didnt have to work as hard as some others thanks to his father. Thats a crazy amount of humility. Who knows if its tru, maybe he was held to the same or higher standard since his father was a star but none the less. Awesome guy.
This segment is probably the best on BT by the way
An awesome interview! Randy is telling it like it is… gotta appreciate that! ( Really in to RKBRO )
Ohh my Randy... we understand even if we did not watch from your debut or somebody elses debut but still looked up to that kind of respect outside sport.
Needed this interview 🔥🔥❤️
He's a frickin living legend
such a down to earth guy. I wish he would do more interviews because hes very enjoyable. Classy dude
Great interview. Randy seems like a down to earth type of guy and as usual, Ariel was great as the interviewer
Very humble man.....I enjoyed this interview very much.....just by ur words u deserve what u have and u make ur family name proud
Good job on both end. Really enjoyed this interview!
He's such a changed man now from his early years not as cocky it seems
what a surprisingly great interview! ariel always gets the best out of his guests by letting them talk. randy has grown as a person, it seems, and that is really cool.
Randy just comes across as the most normal, pleasant and grounded bloke. Really nice interview.
Awesome interview from both parties, really showed a different side of Orton!
When I actually believed in pro wrestling it was probably the best time of my childhood.
This is awesome, I grew up watching randy orton and its really cool to see him be Interviewed by Ariel
This y randy best ever in wwe goat come on randy win rumble 💯🔥
Randy is Honest/kind/fun/and an amazing athelete.I started bodybuilding many years ago just because of Randy
Amazing! That 40 mins flew by!! Great interview Ariel of a legend 🥰
A great interview see another side of Randy here Very proud dad too
Great interview, speaks so well. Do more interviews Randy
What a awesome interview randy is cool I haven't watch much pro wrestling or mma in awhile but really enjoyed it and try to watch more wwe
Watched the Gunther and Rollins interview and here I am now watching a ton of these. The AJ one was great and this is just as good.
This was a damn good watch, very reasonable and insightful takes from someone who has gone through a lot of real personal changes and made the best choices in regards to those changes.
Amazing hearing from him! Go Randy!
one of my fav finish RKO
