The President of Ohio, AJ Hawk. Looking good Hawk
You forgot, father of ten, and COVID survivor😊😊😊
Falls asleep driving with two feet AJ HAWK
Ryder cup winner (not champion)
Nation Champion, Super Bowl Champion…..
Looks like a menace who lights his cigars with flame throwers
not used to seeing AJ without a bookcase behind him
Facts it would be like seeing coach Tressel without that sweater vest
A faux bookcase 😂
Guy needed that cigar BADLY 😂
You got more words out of AJ in a hour then I've heard in 3yrs on pats show. Good to learn a little about him
Really? If you can’t figure out who AJ is through the PMS pod, I don’t know what to tell you.
@@BBaker916 I've watched it. Attention to detail, hates things out of place, smokes big cigars, has 10 kids, Ryder cup winner, president of Ohio. Good to hear him open up is all I was saying.
Hes awesome when pat isnt there and has to lead the PMS show. Pats really good at leading the show and guiding the conversation while interviewing guests. AJ's really good at bouncing questions and comments off everyone else and the show still has a great pace 👍
@@xthakingPat also cuts everyone off and asks long winded questions and I mean really long
@@raulromero2948fair but if we’re gonna criticize that Ty also asks 2 minute long questions about very obvious answers
AJ Hawk AJ Hawk AJ Hawk AJ Hawk!
The most toxic person in the United States 😂
Coach Tressel and AJ Hawk. Two of my favorite all time Buckeyes.
As a lifelong Michigan fan, (49 yrs old) i have to admit that there was a time when I detested both of you. Mainly because y'all were so good. Now, I can appreciate your greatness & be humble enough to glean off of your wisdom. Good luck with the pod, coach.
Respect
Same here as a 45 year old die hard Michigan slappy
Go Blue!!
WOLVERINES 🤘
Is it odd as a Michigan fan to miss Jim tressel? I think it's more just respect. I hate the fact he turned the rivalry around for Ohio state but gosh the guy doesn't age! I wish he had less success vs Michigan that's for sure but you can't help but respect Tressel. I don't respect Day or Meyer much but Wood Earl John and Jim I have always respected. Despite johns bad luck vs Michigan the guy still won a shit load of games and was a good dude. Earl deserved more time I think. Jim got shafted. Woody was ready to retire so he went out in an unfortunate way but he is right up there with when it comes to coaching legends.
Two Buckeye LEGENDS talking football and Leadership. I'll never forget watching AJ PLANT Brady Quinn and Laura's reaction.
That is terrible 😂😂😂😂
Hi Coach Tressel! thanks for continuing to share your time with us. Im so happy that you decided to do this TEAM podcast and I’m excited to continue to grow and apply these lessons as a way to set the right example for my family. Go Bucks!
He's not reading this dummy.
So much love and respect for Tressel...and Hawk is from my home town (my brother gave him guitar lessons, as I recall). Tressel hasn't aged a day in 20yrs.
Coach, we love ya in Youngstown, so many great memories.
It’s fun to watch Tressel talk, his mannerisms remind me of family members in how they tell stories. It’s a tempo and style that we are not seeing any more, it’s subtle, but if you’re from Ohio, I bet I am not the only one that picks up on it.
AJ please say hello to your father Keith who as a Sr at Ohio University, taught me a lot as a Freshman. Good man. Blair Beals
I took Coaching Football at Ohio State with Jim Tressel as the teacher. That was one great class.
One of the most loved human ever in ohio. Love tress. True man of the people and alway helping people
Jim Tressel is so impressive. Incredible interview
Another book you may be familiar with, Coach is-“The First 90 Days” It talks about the virtuous cycle which includes building trust and the direct or indirect effect goes back to something you used to say, “people don’t care what you have to say until they know you care.” That also comes from soliciting their input. What do you need?
I love AJ’s interview style, straight to the point and direct. A great conversation to be honest from two of the best Buckeyes, ever!
I love that Tress is back roaming the Woody. All good. What a great leader of men.
Tress loves roaming around the Woody
YAG
Everyone should have a coach like Tressel and team mate like AJ. Great pod coach
i love the saying, “we’re making little deposits, little deposits, little deposits, and eventually we’re going to make a big withdrawal.” 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

On the theme of TEAM, one of the best was WOODY HAYES book, “YOU WIN WITH PEOPLE”. Great read.

AWESOME words from AJ about Marcus Freeman and Luke. That was fantastic what he said about those guys. Great question by Coach right there!!!
Two of my favorite Buckeyes. I remember seeing AJ in Athens Ohio after they lost to Michigan in 2003. Probably a good idea to get out of Columbus that night.

Youngstown legend Ohio legend
Class act proud Coach Tressell is doing a show wish him major success
Your family is good friends with my grandfather Jim Brown from Washington CH
I knew Ted Hawk very well
I think if your intentions are in the right place you’ll succeed in the end. Success may not be a national title, or being the best in your field of work but if the intention is pure and authentic and it creates a positive impact on the individuals or group as a whole….you win. Your create legacy, you elevate people to believe in themselves and they grow. Ultimately that matters more in life than wins and losses.
AJ Hawk is a legend.
AJ HAWK! Such a solid man!
2 living legends talking shop. Thank you coach and team. Im getting 1% better.
The #47 Buckeye jersey was one of the most popular jerseys growing up as a kid.
A-J-HAWK
Man I miss the sweater vest. My favorite Buckeye coach. Thank you Coach and AJ.
AJ HAWK! AJ HAWK!
I despise OSU, their fans, and everything OSU, but I respect the hell outta AJ hawk.
As a Cane fan hated the vest. but it was bullshit what NCAA did to this man glad to see him doing good
If anyone's interested about 2:04...
The closest active Packer in tackles is Jaire Alexander. To eclipse AJ Hawk, he would need to continue his Packers career tackling at the same clip into his 18th season as a player at age 39. Only then would he sniff AJ's record
Of the Packers top 25 all-time leading tacklers, only two are on the team. One is Jaire and the other is 9th year veteran DT Kenny Clark.
Also wanna add this (and I sound like a meat rider, sorry): I was a huge AJ fan in 06, hoping my Packers would draft him. It was my first time watching the draft. From that year forward, through middle school, high school and a brief, failed attempt at Juco football, I wore #50 as an offensive tackle. Watching him with the Packers, then watching him kill it on McAfee and hearing his comments about being a dad (which I just became this year) -- it's honestly amazing. What a great ambassador for the game and I imagine, a genuinely good guy.
Every kid recruit: I want to be a navy seal. -great AJ Hawk inspiring America
My jaw dropped seeing this in my feed
