  • Join me for another great #gravel ride in the Peak District, starting near Carsington Village in the Sheep Wash Car Park (£3 per day). The ride leaves the village heading towards the High Peak Trail. It then follows a gravel road, leading to Grange Mill. From here it goes to Aldwark, on a mixture of beautiful small roads and gravel tracks. Just outside Biggin it joins the Tissington Trail down to the village of Tissington. To complete the loop we end up riding around Carsington water. In total it is 27.5 miles (44.47 km) long with 680m of climb.

If that doesn't make people want to ride a bike I don't know what would. Looked great!

Thank you. Not a bad ride to do at the moment because not too muddy.
Cheers once again for your positive comments. And there're no cows lol

Did this route today & is a cracking gravel route, put my diverge through its paces & the bike dealt with it with aplomb. Real mix if terrains here with 4 main climbs. Lots of bang for your buck here. Recommended, thanks Julie!!!

Looks just the ticket for a winter ride getting off the tarmac but not too challenging

Great vid. Please please please do more about gravel routes around the peaks .😂
Is this ride doable in the depths of winter?
Thanks so much for taking the time to make these vids.

Loved doing it. You are most welcome
I think so . Guessing the bridleway will be muddy but that's the only place it will deteriorate to any extent. Lots more routes coming up .

@@JuliePhelanExplore fantastic! I look forward to watching and then trying them. For those of us gravel riders who don’t live in the area and also don’t have much spare time due to family / work commitments etc to explore, these vids are really helpful. You’re a natural on camera too and really fun to watch. Keep up the good work 👍
