    I'm just starting with pastel and your video was very helpful. It's sometimes hard to find ones that will start with the basics.

    I love pan pastels too...just wondering, when you use them for your backgrounds, do you put any fixative on it to hold?

    • @JVArtresources

      Hi Paula! I Just use a thinn mist but if you put your work under glass it may not be necessary. So far all my Pan Pastel has been for myself and I have not framed anything so a thin mist helps keep it in place.

    I question whar do you use for covers on the pastels when you order sets of 5 or 10 you have a srewon top what do you have to cover these

    • @JVArtresources
      @JVArtresources  Před 5 lety

      The individual Pans have their own covers. It a screw top lid. That's if you keep them as individuals. If I remember correctly, they also sell a plastic pallet type of holder for 10 as well as the 20 that I have. Try Blick art supply. If you are not in the USA, check with PanPastel directly. I believe it's PanPastel.com. They also have a Facebook group of the same name.

    No, unfortunately. Unless they offer a set now that includes it, at the time it was sold separately.
