A lot of people don't understand how deeply revered SAF and SMB are. They are not mere mortals. At United, they are celestial beings. Footballing gods if you will, etched into the fabric of the club and responsible for 2 of the greatest footballing dynasties ever witnessed. The Three Stooges' - Let's puts things in prospective with the last six managers, Moyes, Van Gaal, Mourinho, Solskjaer, Randnick & Ten Hag:
Moyes - Out of his depth, West Ham suits him,
Van Gaal - should have won the League with squad he had but instead he decided to send everybody to sleep until he got 5th place so the board had to act.
Mourinho - even though he was successful that was the worst football we've seen at Man Utd since SMB & post Fergie that went Toxic so the board had to act so No More Defensive Coaches.
Rangnick - Soon as he came should have went straight upstairs as DOF & assisted Ole otherwise Out of his depth.
Solskjaer - has been the best Manager since Ferguson so we need to appreciate his contributions to our present state of affairs, managing recruits & sense of direction to play the Man Utd way.
Ten Hag - Officially knocked out of the champions league over 13 weeks ago is a sackable offences so his knows his chances of staying already. Why comment on an interview when you haven't even watched it. You're reading about it through a secondary source instead of watching it on CZcams. Ole only referred to an SAF statement after one game where he left Cristiano out. What he meant was that he was under pressure to play Ronaldo and instead of leaving it to him, people were criticizing him, including SAF. He seemed a bit hurt about it because more than Ole, it is SAF's duty to stay out of it. He shouldn't have said it in the first place. Imagine SAF saying Ole was right to leave Ronaldo out although the team had lost the game. That would have strengthened Ole in the dressing room, for the same reason that it weakened him. The manager isn't working on an island. It's sad that opinion leaders like SAF and Roy Keane didn't call Cristiano out. Only Gary did. Roy went to see Ole all the way to Kristiansund after he was fired but when he was on the job and Ronaldo was being a baby about the commitment he had already made, that is when Roy should have stood up for Ole. It hurts me as a United fan that none of the former so-called legends stood with the manager when they all knew he was right.

"You can never not take Ronaldo back" is why we are where we are. We should never have brought him back for several reasons. For one, we are too sentimental. We brought in Sir Alex, Cantona, Robson, and Keane should have been there to sign Bellingham. What a load of rubbish. Sir Alex is getting involved when Ronaldo is rested proves my piont Solskjaer should never have gotten the job permanently. I was never on board from day one cos I didn't think he had the presence. Ronaldo was also a no for me cos I knew he was getting on in age, but his ego would not let him see that he couldn't play every game. Also, cos of who he is, he will want to win right now, but the team wasn't ready. Anybody with 2 brain cells should have seen all this, and I did and wrote comments on various channels at the time.

It was a mistake to bring in Ronaldo because United were not in a state to carry passengers. It's like when Arsenal had Mesut Ozil. Ya he's a beautiful player who can do things no one else at the club could do, but Arsenal did not have the squad to support a luxury player. Even worse with Ronaldo is that it brought extra expectations that were never achievable.
