Elecman-Iceman vs. Airman-Heatman

- Part 2 of the continuation from Rockman Rumble. This time a Tag Team Match, featuring RPF Originals (i.e. no custom edits) Elecman and Iceman facing off against Airman and Heatman. To keep things even, Rockman will be serving as referee. Hopefully he can keep the four of them in line. ... but we'll see.
i like to believe that this happens in the archie comics, where all the robot masters turn good after theyre defeated, and theyre training to fight against wily's rogue robots
I think that kinda does happen in some comic adaptations. At the very least, the first generation (cut, guts, elec, ice, fire, bomb) return to Dr. Light's side.
(SPOILERS FOR THE LAST CHAPTERS if you never read it)
Of the MM2 Masters, I think it was Wood Man, Flash Man, Bubble Man, and Air Man who made the switch, while the other four chose to be deactivated. Meaning, sadly, no Heat Man.

another good fight. interesting to see the MM2 crew (Air and Heat) put in the roles of heels compared to the MM 1 masters (Elec and Ice). I continue to look forward to more of these fights, as each one feels very good.
Well, when you think about it, the MM1 masters were originally created for good, until Dr. Wily reprogrammed them. The MM2 masters were created by Dr. Wily specifically to be evil. That being said, I am just glad the match was able to follow a storyline in itself, and that you were able to see it :D
I like to play any game for the story, and normally subdued stories or overly complicated ones to some usually make sense to me. I just know a little about wrestling, and seeing the mm2 crew cheating spoke 'heel' to me.

I know wrestling as well. I remember the days when video stores used to have a whole wrestling section, and we would see the PPV events all lined up in order. I hope to one day see complete Rockman events, spanning a progression of storylines, strung out across several DVD's on a shelf :P
Both of these matches were complete at the time, but unfortunately the others are not. So it may be quite a while before we see another Rockman update.
Well, I'm willing to wait. I am a loyalist in that aspect.

I love how the bots who cheated the most were Air Man and Heat Man, which would make sense since they were built by Wily.

How do you make these anyway do you use the sprites from power fighters do you find your own sfx how do you even animate these it’s so cool
The sprites are from power fighters and power battle. I made them into short clips in Flash for each action (run, jump, shoot, etc) and then just build the story one action at a time.
Some of the sfx in this one are from MegaMan X5, with a couple I had managed to hold onto from the video editing courses in college :P
Try Cutman vs Pharaohman please
Pharaoh would easily overwhelm Cut Man with his attacks, and can avoid the rolling cutter with ease. Cut Man's minion -while sneaky- would never get an opportunity to attack given his sun wave attack that goes both sides.
Cut Man just isn't *cut* out for a guy like Pharaoh.

I also like how he is the most behaved out of all of the other fighters. Really the only thing yo can get him on is him shooting Heatman while waiting to swap out with elecman. That's because you're not allowed to fight while waiting to swap out with your buddy but other than that he is playing the exact same game as you are.
He also is the only one that wasn't even involved in harming Mega Man because he was out of the way when Heat man used fire tackle and felt like doing karma since he wasn't immediatley disqualified for harming the ref.
Megaman referees like Earl Hebner, he doesn't see anything the bad guys do LOL
@@k1productions87 Well technically Iceman and Elecman are actually the good ones because they were originally made by Dr. Light but were kidnapped and reprogramed by Wily. Once Mega man beat Wily they were fixed by Light alongside the other DLN bots and they serve their initial functions hence their serial number being DLN-005 and DLN-007 respectively.
Heat man and Air man were solely made by Wily and were purley evil from the get-go hence their serial numbers being DWN-15 and DWN-10 respectively.
Megaman is the referee.
you guys know about Megaman 8-bit Deathmatch (MM8BDM) right? search for it...
its interesting, but at times feels a little clunky, but that's what happens when you put 8-bit pixels in a 3D environment. They do great with what they have to work with. I however would prefer a 2D combat game

There's this guy named Terminalmontage that made Pokemon Battle royales, I don't know if you have heard of him but he has done collaborations before to make his videos better. So maybe you can have a collab with someone who has the same/similar intrest in computer animation/editing or just a love for megaman. (Or maybe even experience with 3-D computer graphics) If not then take notes on how T.M. does it and put your own flare in it so that your stuff would feel like something new but still yours. Anyways that was long and if you feel like not do any right now, perfectly understandable. Your channel, your stuff.
@@twizzpaw900 Its a nice idea and I appreciate it. My other potential goals though are to remake all the character animations into smooth vector drawings so I can do more with them. Also, working on making my own original sci-fi story, but that takes MUCH more work.

If you mean to the final version,.... there isn't one. A computer crash eliminated much of it (including custom-built sprite sheets) that once I was up and running again,... I was too bummed to rebuild what I had lost.
If I can ever get to where I am not barely living paycheck to paycheck, I will sit down and get back to it again.

it looks weird how they stop and go... every move they do, they just stop for a moment afterwards... not fluid enough, and WAAAYYY too slow. the animations are nice though...
Well, they stop and go because its a tag team match. Only one on each side can fight at any given time, which is why Rockman is there to be referee. Though sometimes they don't follow said rules.
no thats not what i meant. i meant f.e. iceman does a move, than stands there for a second, then jumps, then stands there for a second, and so on, and everyone moves that way... it looks awkward, the moves should combine more fluently, like a combo, know what i mean?
It is hard to keep the action going much faster, and yet still have the events follow a semi-planned path. Much of it was improvised, but I still had certain spots I wanted to hit.... kinda like a wrestling match, lol.
That, and Iceman didn't exactly have a robust moveset, nor did Airman

Yup, MegaMan admonishes them on it several times, and even gives an attack as a receipt. But even then it wasn't quite enough.
