- Hooray--500 comics! To celebrate, I've put together this video as a massive tribute to my favorite non-Nintendo video game character, Mega Man! I hope you enjoy, and welcome the newest brawler to the party with open arms.
Special thanks to my wife Sarah for the video editing, and my dad, who provided the live trumpet during the Tornado Man theme!

This was a beautiful animation, almost like the history of Megaman of how he was once a famous series on the NES/SNES, how Capcom stopped making his games, then how he disappeared off the Earth for a while, and how he gained recognition in Smash 4 when Nintendo needed him most, making him famous again and never forgotten. I hopefully hope Nintendo does buy Megaman. If they did, they'd make him legendary again. And Nintendo would do *anything* to make their fans happy. So I hope and pray Nintendo will buy Megaman. Its a great series that everyone played back in 1981-2004 and if Nintendo bought it, it would be bigger and better than before because Nintendo knows how to enchance things to make it better.
Sergeant FAGGOT They do. Mario and Zelda are great games with amazing graphics and breathtaking open-world gameplay. And because Nintendo is always making great games, that's why I think they should buy Megaman, so he can be at the "top" again. I just have a feeling that they'll make him even more better, if not just as good, as Capcom did with him.

Arnold Schwarzenegger I heard he's getting a new animated series. I just hope it's good, like the animated tv shows back in the day when Megaman was "All the Hype"
Arnold Schwarzenegger My brother bought the Megman Collection on his Xbox One. It's really fun and challenging and includes all the classic Megaman games from MM1-6 *(7, 8, and 9 comes as a DLC)* and includes a remix mode where you go through different stages randomly throughout all the Megaman games and you have to get to the end within 8:00 minutes. Me and my brothers have a blast doing it :-D

A small detail I noticed is that when they ran through the boss levels in the montage, they show the order in which bosses you go through for each game

I've never been a real Mega Man fan, but I love the story that this animation tells. Rock is a gaming legend, and he deserves such a tribute.

I just love how Nintendo came and picks up characters that might have been forgotten and throw them into the smash. Sonic (Okay, not as forgotten but, SEGA wasn't treating him very nicely were they?) and Mega Man are what I'm talking 'bout.

Megaman: Mr. Sakurai was forced to release some additional characters via DLC when the fans complained that he and Lucas weren't in the final roster. Now we're pretty much holding a ballot to allow the fans to decide who will be added to the roster.
Ryu: *Glances to the left and right* I need this damn job Rock, Capcom is killing me on the inside. I'm a fighter at heart and after Street Fighter X Tekken my credibility has plummetted after we forced our players to pay for content that was already on the disc.
Megaman: Well it won't be easy since we've been trying to fit Roy into the roster for some time now ever since Konami denied Snake's request to return and Rayman was barely able to make it into Smash as a trophy.
Ryu: *Gives the puppy-eye look to Megaman* I ... NEED this position.

Ever since I was a little kid, I was interested by Mega Man. I loved the child like wonder his adventures brought, and ever since then, he has been my favorite video game character, and easily my favorite video game franchise. Thank you Mega Man, for all of the amazing platforming action you’ve brought us, and hopefully more in the future.

So if anything, they should buy the whole company, it's got 3 good franchises under its belt (Mega Man, Ace Attorney, and Street fighter. Those last few panels, especially the one with Mario, are why I play smash bros. Not for the extreme competitive scene, but because it is a fun game that anyone can pick up and play in just a few minutes. And when you play with more experienced friends, you have all the fun without ever being locked into never ending combos..
Are you sure because one time me and a friend were playing Brawl (I was kirby, she was pikachu) and she locked me in a never-ending jab combo on a custom stage somehow that got me all the way to 999%
And just a side note, I was more experienced :P

Honestly, this does such a great job at chronicling everything that led up to Mega Man's legendary Smash 3DS & Wii U reveal, even today.
The Mega Man series hasn't had much activity beyond the Legacy Collection compilations Capcom has been putting out for a while now, but I'm positive that, one day, just as it's happened many times before, the fight for everlasting peace will continue.
Imagine yourself in MegaMan's position through out this video.
