- Here is a quick guide to help any new players looking to get into Deadside. I tried to squeeze as much useful info in as possible without making the video super super long, hopefully this video helps a few people out!

They need to add the ability to get water from lakes and streams. And boil it if needed .

don't toss your canteen bruh. Its pretty common to stumble upon a small base without any fences walling off the water collector. Just take someone else's water is what i say. :)

Using wells in the small towns for canteens would be great, just needs to be balanced

It's crazy how much better the visuals and color palette is compared to Tarkov. I can actually see things!

I have 526.5 hours and I go by wacky I'm on the 505 PVE server you should jump in and find me and my crew we can definitely show you the ropes and help you get from nothing to something less than 30 minutes but it's totally up to you my friend I'm also going to be purchasing a server very soon as well and keep watching my guys video loaf he's awesome and he always keeps deadsiders up to date

@loaf seeing as you’re on the dev team may I suggest being able to carry 1 weapon in the typhoon and being able to break down weapons to put in regular backpacks and maybe smgs in duffles

Hey my bro I've been watching you for a while now and I really love this game got it a week maybe longer when it came out and I'm really enjoying everything that's been put in can't wait for the Halloween stuff as well I miss those skulls but anyway I was having a bit of trouble trying to rent a server if you could please sir and make a video on how we can rent a server and what steps we go through after renting a server myself and a few other deadsiders are wanting to try this with me so I was wondering before I put a bunch of money into this and fail I thought maybe I would write this to you and wait until you responds but anyway keep making these videos I'm loving every bit of it it's nice when you have someone in the development game always keeping their players up to date is what I really like I'm about that dedication as well so please respond to this good sir

I purchased the game with the support bundle, gonna give it a try with your tips in mind, but i may try a pve map first just to get used to the controls and what not
Loaf, thanks for a great, helpful vid. Your graphics look so crisp! When playing on my system, the grass and trees look really blurry, even when on epic (1440p). I’m running an RTX3080, Ryzen 9 5900, and 32 GB RAM. Is this a known issue and is there a fix?
does stack of gun component can sell to NPC like ammo ?

No. Masks and gloves don’t have a function

I usually run ~90-100, it seems to be a decent balance, with fov too high iron sights and other optics become less detailed. Glad you enjoy the content (:

Can also use Dx12 with a 10 series card. I have a 1080 and it works great

Do the contents in the storage space get deleted upon the server wipe too?
When does a server wipe happen?
Everything in your storage stays there during a wipe. But your base and everything in it goes.
Yo what is your settings im new to the game and trying to find solid settings and i have a 60% kb
i played on your server but its abit difficult to actually get gear if new since any stuff youget dosnt do much dmg mitigation

haven't played this game over year. did they add any transportation vehicles? is there any farming/ fishing?. or any other content besides pvp and pve.

Seems like they have given up on it.
This game gives me the impression of a more simplified tarkov, or Simplified SCUM. But it also seems much faster paced and PVP centralized. This kinda compels me to try it out since I love the realistic feels of both of those games but progression feels sluggish if not brutal, and I just want to shoot people. DayZ just sucks to find look and the pvp is clunky. Thanks for the video man, this is a wonderful tip video and got me interested!
Please make a controller support video, i cannot seem to get the hang of recoil using a mouse it doesnt make sence to me so im forced to use shotguns and snipers

I loved getting all the achievements from deadside but when they add up finding 100 loots and driving it's too much :(
i have GTX 1660 SU and i also ran in dx12 and got a major fps boost, recommended for everyone using atleast this GPU or better
i'm curious what my 1660 Ti Max Q will do with it...

First round ever today, so I joined a PVE server. Found a pistol, killed a few bots, ran out of ammo. Went back to get the magazine sitting on the table, but the game said I had no available slots. Was I supposed to drop the old mag to pick up the new one? I'm clueless as to how to swap mags. Thanks.

How does this compare to dayz? Seems fairly similar. Worth a buy if your into dayz?
Yes. More pvp ( easier to get guns) beautiful graphics , less survival mechanics, good PVP ( quick TTK), game runs smooth.
how do i make a respawn-point? shall i buy a bag or? :)
Find a respawn beacon and craft one, it tells you what you need in the craft menu
First stage - propeller swamp boats and rivers to support it will be introduced in Q2 with land vehicles to follow in Q3.
Can we get some kind of update, where are the land vehicles now?
Boats will come out next year and land vehicles will take even longer

Why is everyone comparing deadside to DayZ, I don't get it can someone please explain
Bc the game has a similar map and all in all the design is similar. And the devs wanted to make a DayZ with more pvp. So they are making the game close to DayZ just with less hardcore survival elements but more pvp.
The fact that you can’t use the vast amounts of water around you to rehydrate kills me. Even if it had a minor negative effect to health I would accept it.
It's salt water mang, it doesn't hydrate even if you drank it

Sadly I joined the server you mentioned that you hosted and the chat is filled with racist comments, mainly by a player named AbitDusty and his group, and Catus Dildo. Another man named Racc talking about underage girls. I saw other people say something about it in chat but they were abused even more in chat for trying to stand up. Players Ultimate_freebird and NOJOGO30 were also throwing out N words. AbitDusty said he was friends with the admins and they didn't care. He also was using VOIP yelling racial slurs while someone from our group was streaming and so we had to mute the in-game voip.
I hope we can find a nice server to play on with our 3 man group but this isn't it sadly.

Are u going to address also all the players that left the game like me? Water collectors is not what we bought the game for, u basically gave up ur core game to become another generic survival game, gg.. I ll never support u ever again tbh, was just a waste of my money and time honestly
I'll admit the latest update has made it more difficult for players like me who don't base build and want to just jump in, loot up and get into some pvp, but it is still manageable.
I think increasing food spawn and allowing the canteen to be refilled at wells would even it out again
