      Hi Dan, that's very interesting, thanks for the feedback, happy to read it's fixing both hooks and slices!

      Yeah I think rather than open the club face more to avoid a hook it’s helped me close the club face

      @harryshawgolf Tried on indoor mats. Good feel. Looking for better feedback when the range opens.

      That's good to read Scott, yes hopefully sooner than later we can stop using mats and hit those proper irons shots from the fairways, keep me posted!

    I tend to over-draw / hook the ball, which due to over-rotation of the club face. I hadn’t been paying too much attention to my lead elbow, but realized while watching your video that my lead elbow may be a cause of the over-rotation. I’ll certainly try to set my lead elbow more towards the target and see if that can reduce / eliminate my over-rotation.

      Yes do give this a try and let me know how you get on… it’s a great method to helps reduce early club fade rotation and help keep the club squarer at impact.

      @bubba_man Před 17 dny

      OK… so I set my left arm with my elbow pointing towards the target. Not only am I hitting the ball straighter, but also farther. I have typically had trouble getting distances much beyond 200 yards, and now I am much more capable of getting 230 yards … with two drives over 250 yards!

    Shoulder to elbow can/should work independently from the elbow down to the wrist. Twisting the shaft about itself with an internally rotated lead arm will still hit a smother hook!

      Hi thanks for commenting with your thoughts on this concept. Have you given this a try? this is what some of the tour pros such as Bryson (the us open winner) agree with if you’re suffering from the hooks at the moment.

    In this position, it makes it harder to turn the wrist down, but, not the elbow. The elbow folds right down into the body during the follow through.

      Hi thanks for commenting i suppose this depending on the way you transition from backswing to downswing and how your lead arm rotates externally more. how's your golf going?
