At first, I thought it was a clever tactic to deceive the enemies, but later it became clear that the attacking side also suffered losses. That's war. Good video mate , thank you for uploading it.

Desert warfare was awesome! No cover, no place to run, and no option other than to kill or be killed. As the men taking gut-shots from those heavy machine guns can attest. Man, those slugs are gonna leave a mark!

The men that take their bullets, spread their arms and lay back to die so dutifully at 1:35 are awesome, as well as the dumb but handsome soldier who simply stares and waits to get shot in the gut. Good men, great clip!
@@foreverblueclassics I also love how as the captain is waiting to get shot, his men in the back are piled on top of each other after being slain... no big deal, those guys can be replaced :D
@@milquetoaste7144 Oh in this show the ordinary soldiers and lower ranking officers are massacred in every action whilst Dietrich leads his men to their doom and hardly ever gets even a scratch. If I were a German soldier I would be thinking he was batting for the other side!!!!
Why did I get a special video in the Nazi Africa Corps in the desert of Africa, Aara, or the rats of Tobruk in Libya, the day they were sent to Italy, the Australian army, the British army, with the alliance, they were proud of it during the era of Omar Al-Mukhtar!

Yes, and that one shot in the gut is the officer!!!! But he didn't want to miss out on the action so he took his share well!
