    "AA" - With "THE MIGHTY SUZUKI DR 650" at +/- 50 MPG that would give me an extra 65 miles +/- for an approximate total of 245 miles.... NICE. Might be getting me one of those too. The DR holds 3.6 gallons. The only thing I noticed as an anal analytical asshole is the bolts may be poking up into the plastic - unless the hole below is large enough around to allow them to stick up a little bit without creating a problem.
    Anyway, nice install !!! - I like working with my hands as well - and 9 times out of 10 - I'll come up with a better solution too....
    Nice job Amigo... 😬

      I thought the same thing about the bolts but it worked out perfectly and fit fine...I will probably do another vid on the can when I use it more. The stainless bolts worked really well.

    I had done the same save for using a lock washer w/ wing nuts - in order to easily remove the base (to flatten) the luggage rack if needed.

    I was wondering if you could show how to fill it in and put fuel from it to your motorcycle (for security purpose) and also explain what is the small cap used for ?

    Reece, Good video, I picked up the same "Long Haul" but in black. I never thought of bolts so I used the U-bolts, but it was 100 in the garage, and I was fried. Great idea I may redo mine before I use it, have you had any leaking issues with it?? It is a heavy-duty plastic for sure. Hope all is well.

      Me and my son are planning a trip to Topeka, Kansas to visit my Great Grandfather's grave. My son has a Yamaha TW200. I plan on taking country roads and old forgotten highways to get there to stay off main highways and freeways...The tank gives me a range of about 240 miles...Just a little bit of no walking insurance...

    • @imyourhuckleberry357
      @imyourhuckleberry357  Před 3 lety
