    Great advice I got: 1 round to see. 1 round to confirm. 1 round to beat their ass

    5:45 you can't assume he doesn't know the frames from the first time. Someone might just mess up their punish. I do that sometimes as well. Like knowing drag's d2 is -13 if blocked but I go for ws44 instead of twin piston sometimes because I mess up
    But I get what you're trying to say, but it's early to tell if your opponent is having trouble punishing, but yeah later it became more clear
    16:25 Your only option would have been b1,2 but that might have whiffed (and yes Ik you can electric there but come on, even if you're a god the electric might whiff there)
    Nice video tho. Keep up as always :))

  • @7ranquility
    @7ranquility Před 6 měsíci

    Thanks for laying it out nicely for everyone! I'd like to think this will also work to an extent in tournament pools where there's varying levels of players and bo3's are really deadly if you don't approach it carefully

  • @GRGCompletionist
    @GRGCompletionist Před 5 měsíci +2

    As a Mishima player, i believe whiff punishing with electrics is one of the best and most fun way to see yourself improving. I can confidently say that if i wasn't a Mishima main i wouldn't have gotten as far as i am today.

    • @AveryxFGC
      @AveryxFGC  Před 5 měsíci +1

      100% agree! whiff punishing and carrying to wall feels so good. and it def makes your opponent think twice about throwing moves out!

    korean backdash is one of the hardest things to learn in tekken its like learning a guitar or pianno u need plenty of time and practice not mentioning the tool u use can make or break the process

      I don’t even remember how I learned how to backdash. I think I gave up and tried learning wave dashing (reverse backdashing). I did clean up the backdash eventually though cause now I can backdash reliably with sway characters

    • @ZiyaB3ast

      Practice in-between ranked matches. You'll learn it and not even realize it

    • @JustN0tMe
      @JustN0tMe Před 6 měsíci

      Best way to practice is with a Sway character(Bryan, Nina or Paul)
      I'm still learning how to consistently kbd in P2, P1 is easy rn(Bryan main here😅), but I can do it with any other character, both sides...but I know my inputs aren't perfect.
      Honestly, I constantly fight people that can't do it but the matches are still competitive(either because of my lack of matchup knowledge or setups/flowcharts they use).
      Knowing how to attack seems to bring more points, than knowing how to be fundamentally sound.

    great topic bro as u said pattern recognition. is the key to download any player doesnt matter the rank but the better the player the bigger the pattern it can be like an algorythmic ai but i think movement in tekken is the key to stay away from mix ups and plus frames moves thats what guarantee the win everytime

    • @justframealtf4615
      @justframealtf4615 Před 6 měsíci

      also many times you wiffed hellsweep but couldve done cd 4,4 instead of cd 4,2 this has been a tech since tag 1 and you actually get a combo if you do db4 fast enough after the second sweep.

    • @AveryxFGC
      @AveryxFGC  Před 6 měsíci

      I think I confirmed 112 plenty outside of the times we were scrambling and I was nervous. I cant remember if I mentioned this in the video, but this was at like 6-7 am on new years, so everyone was a little tired, and we were all fine with making mistakes. the hellsweep combo I do need to confirm a more, I havent practiced it too much, so I need to get on top of that a bit more!
