The first rule of making a difficult game like this is to keep the time between dying and starting again at or very near to 0. This running right, then having to skip some boring text cutscene every time is just a waste of everyones time.

He KNOWS his actions result in a net loss of enjoyment for him and chat, but he does it anyway, and claims "it's always been this way".
