I'd like to see a video of you and your fellow pros giving us a guide on how to shoot spares whether it be a system that you use - where to stand - adjustments etc.
This was always fun to play when the team practiced corner pins. It helped a lot with seeing where you released it and how to adjust. Plus it helped with other spares as well

Probably my favorite challenge on the channel. It's also really cool watching Frankie. He's one of the awesome bowlers that we don't see on a lot of these "behind the scenes" channels. He's also really cool and calm on the show, and there's obviously nothing bad about that, but it's nice to actually see his personality a bit more.

Frankie's physical game is something to marvel at. He is so smooth and understated which allows such consistency. I love this mans game. I try to emulate him when I can.

This is how Dick Weber told me how to practice. Shoot the corner pins on the first ball than a strike ball on the second shot. Two hand is great for power, one hand for accuracy.
I miss playing games like this with my friends, it's fun and really improves your spare shooting.

We did this with the 4 kids who showed up to practice with Tim and I. Two of the kids are still working on fundamentals so it’s anyone’s guess where the ball is headed on any given shot. Of the other two, only Sammy kept it under a hundred. Tim looked very sharp for the first half of the game, then he guttered on the first ball In the eighth and finished at 70. I was cheating by throwing at the 7 pin lefty and going at the 10 pin right handed. It was working fairly well until the eighth when my body remembered that I’m not really left handed and chucked it in the gutter. Finished at 80.
My own theory on shooting corner pins is that the ideal shot is a straight line cross alley that has an equal amount of miss room to either side. This means that if you hit your target at the arrows you will take out the 6 pin when shooting at the 10 pin from a full rack.

I would also say, it makes perfect sense that 2 handers trade accuracy for power, and the best 2 handers Belmo and Simonsen are @ their best when they're really accurate.

I’m always super impressed when I watch Frankie bowl. I feel like he had a little stretch last year with a bunch of missed ten pins either on the show or leading up to the show. Is that something he made a change to correct, or was it just a matter of execution? He’s obviously incredibly accurate so I’m shocked any time he makes a poor shot ever.

Lowball is a great way to practice multiple spares especially corner pins!
@@TheHouseBowling we recently found out that our house has the “pick your spare” ability which has been a game changer for practicing different spare combos for us!
@@dalebisneat just going there and practicing splits helps me increase the focus level and makes the regular spares way easier!

It doesn't matter we her he stands, you have to figure out where you need to stand for your own game. PRACTICE. Shoot the 10 pin on the first ball, then go for the 7 on the second ball. You get PRACTICE on both of them that way
