I'm about to turn 50, been a one hander for 38 years, last year I bowled 2 handed in a fun league, rotating oil every 4 weeks using all pba shots, I averaged 228 but my back paid the price the entire season. Can't do it anymore, gonna have to stick to one handed and 210 :/

Good match. Next time Packy should bowl one handed, right side. Brad can go two handed, left side. The odds should favor Packy as lefties can usually do better opposite hand than righties.

1 handed is harder then 2. I can bowl both ways, and I bowl about 2% of the time w 2, and about the same scores. I just feel it's cheap, and against a 1 hander, I'd be at an advantage, especially w practice to raise my scores well beyond my 1 hand.
I'm at a 210 average one handed and recently decided to switch to 2 handed.
I've only been bowling two handed for a little over a month and my average is
almost as high as my one handed style. What's crazy though is 2 handed feels
so much better for me personally! That's why I decided to switch. My strikes
2 handed are 10x more powerful when my ball hits the pocket then when I
throw the ball one handed. I leave 10 pins so often one handed and when I
throw the ball two handed it pretty much NEVER leaves pins even if I don't
hit the pocket perfectly. Where as one handed I can hit the pocket flawlessly
and still leave stone 10s etc. The only reason my 2H average isn't higher just
yet is because I struggle a bit with the 10 pin spare when I throw the ball two
handed. I'm thinking I may keep a spare ball with the thumb so I can use it
to pick up 10 pins and then throw two handed for everything else!
thats what i do, throw at everything 2 handed but throw 1 handed to get the 10 pin with my spare ball

It’s funny you guys did this. Last weekend I actually bowled a couple of frames of 2-handed (naturally one-handed). I’m impressed Brad didn’t hook the ball into the left gutter (I did that 2x). I think it’s very taxing style physically at least it was for me. I needed bend down lower I thought to roll more effectively

I’m surprised PBA has not created a separate PBA for Two hand bowling this clearly shows it’s a different league bowling with 1 hand vs 2 hands I thin in the future there will be a 2PBA
I was a 137 average one handed in my league. Bowled 2 handed for the first time ever and averaged 178 over three games...I am now a 2 handed bowler
Packy's score was around that of my best scratch game for this past fall bowling season. Impressed that Brad kicked his a** using 2 hands. Great game, you two! FWIW, I would probably spazz out if I tried to bowl with 2 hands. In any event, you young whipper-snappers could easily kick my a** on the lanes. HDCP 105.

My son and I bowled a game with our eyes closed using only muscle memory and instinct. It was really difficult and scary at first, but as we bowled, we grew more confident that we weren't going to throw the ball into another lane or foul and we started doing really well. Pretty fun too.

I started with 2 handed bowling. And it hurt my leg too much after a few years so i switched to 1 handed and my game improved alot.

Rewatching this video but if you bowled in the Missouri Junior State for 2021 you will know that they are in the same house. They are in Ofallen Missouri at Frontier Bowl.
Edit: They had all of the other doors chained up besides the main door. It may just be me but that's a fire hazard.

Me being left handed, this is funny watching Packy bowl.
Two handed bowling provides an unfair advantage to the bowler. Because the opposite hand acts as a locked brace, it forces the bowler to throw it out and it’s impossible to pull it as long as your body stays straight to the foul line. It’s one less thing to worry about. You only have to worry about hitting your mark.

As a guy who grew up using one hand and whatever house ball was available, I could tell Packy was in trouble as soon as I realized he was using a ball that doesn't fit well with his hand. I just remember really well that just a slight difference in thumb hole size was automatically a twenty to fifty pin disaster.
I'm sure Chris Forry would have overnighted a thumb to Packy if he had asked . . .
