  • It looks like Citus Con: An Event for Postgres 2023 is going to be even better than last year. As Claire Giordano says, it’s free, it’s virtual, it’s a literal Postgres buffet of knowledge sharing. There are two unique livestreams, one in Americas and one in EMEA. The co-creator of Django, Simon Willison, is giving a keynote-as is Marco Slot, who will talk about the distributed PostgreSQL problem. Your co-hosts for the livestream will be Jelte Fennema, Robert Treat, and Claire Giordano. And it’s going to be easy to connect with the speakers on Discord, which is the “virtual hallway track” and the official backchannel. For people who join the livestream, you can enter to win some of the Citus Con swag. And there are 25 more on-demand talks that will publish at the very start of the virtual conference.
Happening on Apr 18-19, 2023, Citus Con is organized by the Postgres and Citus teams at Microsoft-and will include 37 talks, 2 livestreams, and 40 speakers. So put it on your calendar, tell your friends, and join us for this year’s Citus Con: An Event for Postgres 2023-to learn about Postgres open source, Citus open source, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, and Azure Cosmos DB for PostgreSQL.
