Still my favourite thing about Tormek is the pack of plasters in the box🤣

Do you have any tips about even bevels? One side has a larger bevel than the other.

Hej davec9371, mostly, the shorter was sharpened to little. Just use more passes on the shorter side. Check also the thickness of your blade when using the older SVM-45 or SVM-140, When sharpening quite thick blades you may adjust the angel for the other side. When using the KJ-45 and KJ-140 the blade is self centred.

And when you only Lift up you have a smaller bevel because you are higher 😂

    Please excuse my comment.
I have a Tormec T8, and there is a shaft that restrains the rotation of the leather wheel. It is constantly clicking, and at the same time, the axis is repeatedly moving back and forth, and the vibration is transmitted to the entire body of the machine. I have asked the dealer and the manufacturer and they say it is within normal limits.
Does your Tormek have similar symptoms?

      Hej Tomsan,
did you already contact our support via support@tormek.se about this? Our colleagues from support can say if this is a normal behaviour of the machine or should be fixed.
      Stay sharp
