Were you on the boat with 2 others? I didn't do good at the wall. Caught a few mackerels then went to Izors reef. Caught a couple lizard fish, couple sand dabs, and a few more mackerels. The wind started to pick up around noon. I left Izors and trolled a Rapala HJ-10 back to HB Harbor and caught 2 bonitos at the same time on 1 lure. Since my Rapala lure had 2 treble hooks, each bonito was bit on each treble hook. I've never caught 2 fishes on 1 lure before. The footage wasn't that great but I will upload the video from today hopefully later today or tomorrow. Was up at 4am and in the waters by 6am. Got back to the docks at 5pm. Fell asleep a handful of times while on the way back to the harbor. Thanks for watching my lame videos and commenting. Hopefully you guys caught some worthy fishes. The spot where you saw me is good for calico fishing.

It was mentioned in the video and also in the description. The size is 2/0 since the mouth of these species are small you can use a 1/0 as well but a bit harder to fit the entire shrimp on a 1/0 hook. Thanks for watching.

I'm not doing good in any of those departments so if there's decent content, I'm uploading it. Hopefully someone that loves catching perch or ocean whitefish will find the video enjoyable or helpful. Pt Fermin didn't work out too well. Skunked over there then headed back into the harbor. By that time, the bite had already died.

How big are the hooks you are using bro? And I'm assuming shrimp as bait?

Where is this at didn’t know ocean whitefish come in that close
San Pedro jetty. Was in about 25 feet deep of water. I think the key thing was tide changing from low to high.
