@Critique Everything Those came out in the 90s though, a different generation, when NY had the biggest influence on hip hop. That was when hip hop was still HIP HOP! Atlanta people like to claim they've been running hip hop for the last 20 years and look at what's happened over the last 20 years. Dumbed down, mumbling lyrics filled with auto tune and dresses and fingernail painting, but still want to act tough. It's this entire generation now, not just Atlanta it's the whole south, but Atlanta is the main culprit because they like to claim they've been running the whole industry now. The Migos claim is a PERFECT example of this, stealing styles and running with it because they're what's "hot" now. I don't see too many NY people on this feminine swagger, the south is (mostly). That's why I make this assertion.
