I would love to see this light/dancing feature for Halloween in the US. My assumption (still waiting on my M3 LR) you can add your own playlist for the light show. Also, is it possible to change from the "Tesla" say to other names, like the left light could say Jack and the right light could say Jill?
You can create your own lightshow with some software. I believe limited to 90-120 seconds though

Tesla is more of a technology product than a car. That’s why we love to have it. And yes, it’s nice to feel like a 9 y/o kid behind the steering.

Even though I know tesla vehicles are pretty much computers on wheels, the capabilities of these cars still amaze me 😃
You said it right, Tesla being primarily a software company, they did it right by giving the car a core heart that can be easily software upgraded rather than dozens of calculators like traditional car manufacturers

Having ONLY central screen doesn't mean that new updates can be delivered to the car. It is called OTA upgrade and BMW does it also for ICE and PHEV. Tesla miss driver's instrument cluster. Also some physical buttons ex glive box would be good.
Over The Air updates are available in other cars as well but, at the moment, Tesla is the only one capable to completely change the user interface and add new features. I’ve been promised OTA updates on my etron, never saw anything

We took delivery of our M3LR last week and it came with matrix lights. But basing the entire car on the headlight sounds kind of dumb to me.
@@bigdaddyswole they’re not “old” parts, just because you don’t have the matrix feature, doesn’t mean they’re old. You do you, friend, I’ll be wavin as I pass by in mine.
How do you turn off the squeaky window feature or is it just with version 11?
They do that when they're wet 😮
Buy rubber sealant. They sun has tried out your rubber seals so it makes a noise when it rubs against the window when wet. Use a water based rubber sealant protection, not oil based.
Happens on brand new teslas as well, but good advise above never the less

Personally, I don't totally dislike the update, but there are some fixes needed. Spent 1/2 hour in garage exploring when I got it, but here's my thoughts on v11
Pros:
Separate Subwoofer Controls!!! Easy Access to EQ
I prefer the new climate Control direction, although they could use a few tweaks. Glad seat heater is off of main bar, as it was too easy to hit on accident. Plus now has auto seat heat.
Customizable Toolbar, though wish they'd take the customizability further (ie, climate control functions)
More Games & Lightshow feature
Cons:
Trip/Tire Pressure Data now buried, as cards are gone
USB Media cannot be changed once one is selected. Big issue for USB users
New UI for Speed/AP is fine, but I wish Speedometer was Bigger/Bolder
Calendar has lost functionality (Details and Filter)
Issues with passenger climate not being consistent and no way to control it being on/off
Neutral:
UI looks different, but I can't really say the aesthetic is better/worse. Mostly just different. I don't mind it.
I like the less clutter on the top of the screen, but some people want to see some of those. This should be customizable as to which icons show.
Lack of Change:
Non FSD Beta graphics still not updated. Can't we get a little closer to how FSD Beta works without the functionality
Still no option to buy Enhanced AP
USB Media Controls/UI could use a little attention
Not as much customizability as I hoped.
Still haven't fixed Lane Departure Warning: I keep it off, but sometimes it still randomly gives me the warning, which I hate.
Haven't fixed issue where car goes to sleep & forgets media playback and randomly takes longer than normal to turn on.
I strongly dislike every change they made with this V11 update. Everything is more difficult to get at and monitor. Big disappointment.!!
They definitely needs to tweak a few thinks. Elon said in an tweet that there will be updates to fix stuff
Fuck all those games and lights man, what the hell have they done? Hide the controls and make all the icons smaller. Terrible update.
Games and light are things that I don’t really care about, you play them once or twice to show your friend and then you forget about. What matters is the user interface, the ease of use and the added features. There are thinks that I don’t really like on this update like the fact that they hide some controls that were visible but they did add some cool features. Let’s hope that future updates refines the user experience
