It depends on the country…when i was in asia the sun would be up at 5.30 which was amazing tbh you would awake immediately and sometimes even wake up naturally
I wondered the exact same thing, but I plan to adopt this routine but essentially wake up at a different time, still keep the time spacing. I normally look up when the sun rises for the next day, and go with that. Wake up at that time and plan out the rest of the day from that starting point.

For anyone who can't seem to get up in the morning, put your alarms across the room so the only way to turn them off is to get out of bed. Then turn off the fans and air conditioning so you don't want to get under the covers again. Take deep breaths to let oxygen into your body and wake up your brain and limbs. This helps me, let me know if if works for you 💙

I'm a morning guy and I was curious to see what was your recommended routine, but the 45 min at the gym are impossible to me. I spend at least an hour working out + 25 minutes just going to the gym and coming back. Other than that, it's awesome, and believe me, the impact is huge! Still, one thing that this videos don't tell is that by waking up earlier, you will have to go to bed earlier. Keep that in mind. At the end of the day resting is very important and the day contains 24h, no matter how you decide to spent it.
I was going to say the same thing! That’s a 20 minute workout with a 10 minute commute each way. Just wanted to point that out.

I agree, that was the only thing I had a problem with because it takes me about 1.5 hours from leaving to getting back from the gym. I also am really into the science of lifting weights and I won’t workout in the morning fasted. In simple terms you burn muscle before fat. If your already fit you won’t see progress going fasted in the morning.
You can do stretches or just Warm-up or Hiit cardios in that 45 mins or dont use that 45 just use 30 mins of it and rest reschedule as per your need bro

This is actually super good and easy to follow because the blue print is perfect.
Although this routine is well thought-out, and, more importantly, one that can be realistically implemented, adhering to the routine itself is more significant than beginning at exactly 5:00 a.m. The first supporting example the video mentions is that having the discipline to wake up earlier bolsters mental health output. However, the mental health gains associated with waking up earlier are not an effect of being awake earlier, but rather the product of increased confidence, a result of the satisfaction one gains from being disciplined. Furthermore, the video supports its premise by advertising three additional hours gained by waking up earlier, yet three waking hours cannot be gained without sacrificing three of sleep. Not only would this tradeoff erase all the boosts to one's mental health, improvements to productivity would be either minimal or inverted. Despite having additional time to work, one's mental clarity and acuity would be curtailed for the entire day, not just the several additional hours, from having lost three hours of sleep. Therefore, it is less about when you wake up and more about having the grit to honor your promises and wake up at the time you set.

Amazing routine. I tried something similar recently and it worked very well. So i can say confidentially that this is very efficient. One thing I would like to say is that maybe wearing your socks to bed won’t be a good idea. It really depends upon the temperature where you live but usually if the socks are too tight they might reduce blood circulation in your feet. But, if you live in a very cold place or it can be that some people are different wearing socks might even help your circulations. Experiment and find out!

Can you do a night time routine as well? I have a second job that gets me in bed around 12 am. I feel like since we need 7-8 hours of sleep it’s more difficult to do this 5:00 am wake up routine.
Just change the things from 12:00 till 8:00
The 8 hour sleep is actually a myth and just a blatant wrong research that was done years ago. You are just fine if you are sleeping 5 hours at night and a afternoon nap will help you going with the day.
Overall this is a pretty good routine. The one point the wasn't correct is that there is always the same 24 hours in the day. This means that If you wakeup at 8am and go to sleep 12am you get the same amount of time in the day as if you wakeup at 5am and go to sleep at 9pm.

Yeah. I mean, I've naturally taken to a bunch of these 'tips' he talks about long before I watched this vid, but this take on 'extra time' is just stupid as hell.
That's true, but the hours of 6-9pm are different than the hours of 9pm-12am. Most businesses run 8am-7pm local time. You'd be more prepared to work with them by waking up 3 hrs before they open. But it kind of depends on if you do business locally or overseas, or what kind of work you do, etc.
I think he meant that you get more of the daylight
technically, but you also have more energy in the morning than in the evening so I'm assuming you're more likely to be productive in those early hours than the later ones.

To get rid of that heavy groginess you get as soon as you wake up, keep a large bottle of water next to your bed and chug half of it as soon as you wake up. I've found it helps a ton.

i've been waking up at 4.00 AM in the morning for the last 1 mont, first i have a glass of water, i have to wake up earlier to pray, after back from mosque i recite qur'an after that i read book while also drink a cup of coffee, and then i take a shower, and at 7 AM i go to the gym, after back from gym i make a meal, the energy and the mood is always strong what a good morning routine, and then i ready to go keep strong brother 👊🏽

That’s the goal
This routine misses to address some important points. To function effectively and stay mentally and physically healthy, the average person needs at least about 7-8 hours of sleep a day. That means that with this morning routine you need to go to bad every day between 21:00 and 22:00 the latest. People with a (social) life besides work might most of the time not be able to do this, so many would risk not to get enough sleep.
You recommend to get sunlight right after waking up, which is indeed a good way to get your system running. However, over half of the year there is no sunlight at 5:00 (depending on where you live), so most of the time you’ll only be able to get your sunlight at the end of the routine. I think (did not do the research), you might mess with your biological rythme if you wake up several hours before sunrise every day as your body will not produce those hormones you need to wake up naturally.
Second point, you mention the option of fasting by skipping breakfast. Skipping breakfast after a morning work-out is a bad idea. You need to fuel yourself with nutritions to have enough energy throughout the day, especially after a work-out (you need sufficient protein intake if you lift weights for example, or you might end up losing muscle).
I would recommend a ‘light’ version of this routine, making sure you get enough sleep, and have a healthy breakfast.

Saying you have 3 hours a day extra if you wake up at 5am is fun and all, but does that mean you sleep 3 hours less every night? Because that wouldn’t be very good for your physical and mental health now would it?
some thoughts
1. hearing you say that waking up earlier adds more time to your life should have been the first red flag. 9PM-5AM is exactly the same amount of time as midnight-8AM. what will truly increase your longevity is getting consistently sufficient sleep.
2. i have yet to find someone that can explain what "toxins" truly are. but yeah, water is good for you. and coffee is also good for you.
3. going to the gym 15 minutes after you wake up is pretty hectic but I can vibe with taking the initiative. then you leave the house and you're back home taking a shower 45 minutes later?? guess i gotta teleport to the gym and back
4. go to sleep with your gym clothes on?! you're gonna sweat in those clothes all night and then go out in public in them??! straight up nasty dawg I'm ngl
5. do you know how many healthy foods there are with estrogen in them? flax seeds, fruits, chickpeas anyone? lathering soap on your body is going to make any difference in your testosterone levels
