All yummy, i remember having mint custard and rice krispie bake,this was like in 1977.🎉

You need your own cooking show Hailey on TV, I'm drooling looks yummy, it's not a pudding but I loved the sausage and bean pie along with the chicken pie at school.💚

I love seeing the school lunch stuff! It is interesting to me coming from a place where there wasnt any such thing. We just took packed lunches all the time. Of course back then (Im over 10 yrs older than you) we didnt have much choice for snacks etc...Bologna or cheese, maybe tuna sammy, piece of fruit, maybe a cookie or 2. Drank water from the fountain. It was a special day when mom got us thermoses that held soup or hot left overs! Thanks for the video! 😃 xx
Love hearing how it is elsewhere, so Your school provided no hot Meals at all? Ours Go way way back.
A hot meal was provided in Victorian 'Ragged Schools' which were free and targeted at the most destitute. ln 1906 the government first got involved in school dinners with the Provision of Meals Act.

We had this cake in our school, but we had hundred and thousands on it but still the pink icing

Hi Hailey I hated school dinners , but I loved the puddings ,I had a box 1 in cupboard that I made at the weekend with the girls, they have it at there school ,my favourite pudding was cornflake tart and custard, xxx

Oh yeah, the UK def had better puddings than us...at least at my school. The cake looked nice and moist. Yum! I haven't made cinnamon raisin bread in ages. Will have to add that to the list. Beef casserole looked so good. I could almost smell it. I made a large one a month or ago and still have some in the freezer. That's going to be supper tomorrow. It's rabbit food tonight, tho. 🐇🐰 😂😂 Thanks for this series. I'm enjoying it. Take care. 🛹🥰🐢

Everything looks yummy as per usual…. A little tip for you hasslebacks….i use a wooden spoon, set the potato in the dip of the soon and then it stops it rolling and stops the knife going all the way through too lol x

I loved all the different custards at school, specially banana and custard. That was one of my favourite desserts.

Loved your video I'd rather do my stews on the stove and then the oven they taste a lot nicer oh the cake gut you never made the pink custard the pink custard was a blancmange but made thin mum used to put blancmange powder jn sponge cakes the pink turned the cake pink and the was lemon and raspberry blancmange as well as chocolate and pink that was strawberry mum used to put any flavour blancmange in cakes and at school we had sprinkles on the cake or sometimes jam and coconut and Andy favorite cake is a sponge cake with icing and sprinkles on I usually put icing and sprinkles on top of a sandwich cake love fran xxxx
@francisraffle2948 brought back memories did it gran? I think each area had their own way of topping this cake, the one with jam and coconut on top is a different cake, but same kinda thing xxx
