Just got my own installed in my jeep ... love it very much. Sounds better than the deh 80 prs it replaced. Hope they continue to produce high end single din ho because not everybody need 2 din.

@@damianquintero6070 hola Damián fíjate que lo compré por EBay todo iba bien pero al llegar el stereo tenía que pagar una importación y una serie de trámites muy caros y engorrosos así que decidí hacer el regreso de la unidad, me salía más caro pagar la importación que lo que me costo y pues me quede con las ganas espero conseguir uno aquí en Mexico a buen precio saludos!
Very sexy unit. I love the volume knob. Practical for a car...but needs a couple more hard buttons for radio stations. We are driving afterall. Overall this comes up short.
To be high end should be double din; with the extra real estate include a bigger display along with a blu-ray player. Bluray will yield tons of capacity for uncompressed monster sized audio files. That will rock the entire industry for audiophiles everywhere!!! Lastly, dump all the inputs (eg USB) and just allow a front slot for microSD cards.
Im glad I waited it through, and got the Sony XAR 9500-ES.

Well, the carcass of that stereo is fitted. for old cars what do I got to do to have one for a modern car who has a screen with computer and all those gadgets (Nissan Sentra)
I have one love it and have done a video of this using my tab s6 as the screen. I can say there are a couple of things that need to be said. First I love it, just know it's time for a update. Sony hasen't released a firmware update in years. So with tablets and phones constantly updating just prepare yourself for some Bluetooth drops. I ran optical through my jeep and lost volume control on the steering wheel due to the fiber optic, I can still change the songs with the steering wheel and since I have a full JL system I programed the bass know to handle the volume. Basically don't do optical unless you know what you're doing.
Optical should be runned with an external DSP with proper volume controller.

is this better than the XAV-9500ES?
Just go with the new Fiio M17 DAP as it’s far superior in every way.

@@rajgunaseelan44 if your dap has a coax connection, you can go with it. Helix dsp 3S has a coax input for device like FiiO m11 ESS. Connected with it and you have the maximum sound quality.

If the music is paired via bluthoot would you get the sheer performance of the track or. does it play better by plugging. the devises through the cable, what I do today is to connect my Samsung phone via aux in to a conventional factory nissan sentra conventional stereo.
Aux is will always be superior. Bluetooth is a full of lossy codecs..The average person wouldn't know the difference though, seriously.

Yes it's has its own platform on your smart phone or tablet that allows you to add apps like waze and Spotify, you tube etc
nice video. how does the steering wheel output work? is it universal for all wheels and brands or does it need to be programmed
this has a 3.5mm jack input for compatible harnesses to be used corresponding to the vehicle being installed in. this does not need to be programmed
So when you run optical you WILL make sacrifices. You will loose the option to control your volume on the steering wheel. On the app it's self you will loose a lot of features as well but you will gain better sound quality that you can barley notice in a moving vehicle with ac or hear or windows down with a 400 degree engine running. I have one and love it.

@@toorop111 I have the vxi 800/8 and the 1000/1 yes I have the dsp I ran optical and I'm using the drc 205 for volume bass and two other setting for when I have my top down. Which takes a slot in the dsp
@@IamKing-qv4ix do you think Amps make a huge difference ? I’ve heard the dmx1057xr kenwood reference 10.1” screen. The sound reproduction is incredible. I’m wondering what this Sony sounds like
The remote and functions on this model are rediculous. The head unit works great when it doesnt take itself out of optical out.
its really a shame, Sony is producing "ES" Overpriced garbage like this, these days! i Know Sony ES since the 90`s! but this, is nothing to do with it! (for me)

Idk about you guys when I listen to music I don’t stare at a screen unless I’m watching a video. This is an audiophile unit nothing else. Definitely not for everyone

Use a Hose Pipe Bruv .But make sure its a yellow hose pipe as a green one will not work !
