Great Video! I’ve been to St. Thomas 29 times!…My parents started taking my brother and I to St. Thomas when I was 13. Now, at 58, I’m anxious to make my 30th trip in 2023!!! I can’t wait 😛
I'm a newbie to the island; only been several times now.
Enjoyed it so much, bought a place on the Mahogany Run grounds.

Nice job! I usually stay at the airbnb Vessup Vacation Rentals, which is a 10 minute walk to Secret Harbor and Vessup Beach, and 15 minute walk to Red Hook. Great hosts!

Wonderful video, my late mom loved learning about AVI, especially St. Thomas. I really like the places that are roomy and have kitchens.
Thank you so much for posting your vids for St. Thomas! Because of you I booked Sapphire beach and it was perfection! You should create a video about driving on St. thomas! I was totally prepared to drive on the left and got the hang of it quick, but I was not prepared for the hills and turns! Crazy. I could not and did not drive at night.

I just returned from Sapphire Beach Resort and loved it! Great location to Red Hook.
Also Camilla- I had my birthday dinner at the Easterly based on your recommendation and absolutely LOVED it. Incredible seafood and service at the bar.

@@CamillaJohannesen we stayed in A, the one right next to the coffee shop and beach bar! My husband lived there in his 20s so we’re bound to come back with our kids next year and rent a big ol villa up in the hills this time. 😍

We prefer the Margaritaville resort over them all! It doesn't hurt that we are Club Wyndham owners so we only pay an annual fee of $1200, paid monthly $100, and we can use those points to stay anywhere we want. This year we went to Cozumel. Next year we are going to Puerto Rico :)
We enjoyed Margaritaville too, we stayed there last year for New Years. I love how close it is to the Coki beach. But yeah, that is a great deal, and I totally understand why you would go there then! Have you been to Puerto Rico before? We love San Juan! Aaand I'm gong to Mexico in August 🥰
@@CamillaJohannesen we have been going to a new island every year since we went to USVI, all using our Club Wyndham. Have never been to PR and hadn't been to Mexico before. We definitely want to go back to St John though, so far the water there is the most beautiful we have seen.
I was sad to see that Margaritaville was a mess when I went. The beach stunk and wasn’t cleaned up of all the seaweed and was cloudy and yellow. The pool was cloudy, and the music and dj’s there were unappealing playing bad rap and club music at a volume where you couldn’t hear your own thoughts. The sunset cruise out of there was delightful, but even some of the sailing guests had said they regret booking Margaritaville. I stayed in November of ‘22

Yeah, its def not the cheapest travel destination! I have tons of other more affordable traveld destinations on my channel, but I always also love Mexico because it's so close and affordable.
I know this post is 8 months old, but are there any all inclusive resorts in the Virgin Islands? “All inclusive” seems to get misused when researching, but just looking for drinks and food included in the stay

although we've stayed at one of these places, for a majority of people, especially staying for a week, may not want to fork out 500 or more per night to sleep.

My mother worked at Secret Harbor so I grew up on the beach almost every weekend while she was at work back in the 1960s. Thanks for the video of Secret Harbor, good memories. Bolongo Bay Hotel and Point Pleasant Hotel are also great like Secret Harbor.

I was totally prepared to drive on the left and got the hang of it quick, but I was not prepared for the hills and turns! Crazy. I could not and did not drive at night.
