Italy!! The New Super Power in Volleyball Women's
ITALY has been a power for a quiet a long time ,id say though,but,this time i think ITALY has been able to get a new team mix with youth,height,power and experience ..and as far as im concern,the italians along with SERBIA, Turkey,The Netherlands ,China and the USA will be dominating the voleyball scene in the next years..As for Brazil,well,lets say that their time as a dominant power in the womens voleyball has reach its end...Next its TOKYO 2020..and i dont see the south americans even in the top 5.
@@MarcosCorderoBALDO : LMAO! Brasil is 4th in the world ranking Italy 8th right now. Brasil has beaten all of them this year with a new team in transition. They have won 2 Olympic Gold medals.
thecamil10..AS for the Current VNL 2019... the Brazilian team has beaten both Italy,China and also Serbia and USA team ....And yes,Brazil its the current N.4 in the oficial FIVB ranking.......ALL OF THESE accolades would and should tell you that “everything” is fine right???? ...the answer is Not really.......Brazil has beaten the C Italian team,same with China,it was the Junior team mix with a couple of veterans ...SERBIA didn’t send their A team and the USA has a new team......BRAZIL finished 7th in the last WC 2018....4th in the first VNL ...Brazil wasn’t invited for Mountreux 2019 tournament ,I guess due to timing with the Super liga .......WHEN Brazil beats A teams ,and for that I mean CHINA,ITALY SERBIA and USA...Then we can talk..as for now Brazil its lucky all Of those teams have not yet played with their main players,otherwise OTHER would be the story...Brazil depends ALOT in the old veterans ,players that are past 30 year old mark ( they still keep waiting for Sheila Castro,Fe Garay or even worse Carol Gataz ,a 36 year old middle blocker that is having the time of her life in the Brazilian league ,and might be call for the national team..As for the other teams ,they have invest in young and tall talent,something that sooner or later will pay off..I wouldn’t say the same on Brazil.
@@MarcosCorderoBALDO Well, as far as I am concerned the A team from Brasil is not playing during the VNL either. The Italian team was beaten by Brasil with their A team not along ago. Brasil has always been a force to be reckoned with and it will continue to be. Some of these teams such as Serbia are new and are playing really well, but they don't the tradition that other teams have, once their stars go, we shall see how their teams will fare in future competitions. Italy, don't think they've achieved much. They have a good team in the last couple of years once their main players retire who will fill in for them? We shall see. Now for you to say that the Brazilian team has reached its peak and will not be able to produce great players again, it is absolutely ludicrous. Brasil has always been a power house and it will continue to be for the foreseeable future.
@thecamil10 The current Brazilian team;is all that they have as far as im concern,yes,its true;Tandara and Honorio are missing,both with personal issues,but they eventually will be back witrh the national team..As for Fe Garay,she declined the invitation for the VNL,and at 34 years old i just dont think she will be up to the task ,Thaisa is retired for good;ADE also said no to Guimaraez...I just dont see who else should or could be waiting for?..Thats it!.The current Brazil team ,just happens to be the A team.Dont get me wrong Brazil will always be trouble;they have lots of players..but,as dominant as they once were?..I dont think so..Brazil depends too much on veterans ,just give a look in the current main squad,with GABI being the youngest at 25 yo!..There are new faces;thats true; but it will take time and lots of experience to catch up. SERBIA and ITALY are the current Champion and Vice Champion in the recent World cup,where Brazil finished 7th...with almost the same group of athletes plus Fe Garay and Thaisa Menezes...Brazil is suffering fatigue and a bad management.Theres being no new faces along with Youth and height so required these days..As for Europe,China and USA;all of those territories have done a terrific job improving their power and that will be an issue for Brazil,either you like it or not,just because the gap will be so huge when eventually those old veterans leave the national team for good after Tokyo 2020.
