- What do our friends from Antibes show their friends when they visit? Here’s their TOP 10 things to do in Antibes!
You’ll get to see sights you shouldn’t miss - like a monumental sculpture , views of the city from high above and two of the most beautiful beaches. And we’ll take you to two of the most fancy hotels with a lot of history.
Antibes is a pretty town, much smaller than Nice, but still one of the three most important cities on the Riviera - with a cute little old town famous for its ramparts and the snowy mountains in the background until May, a party strip called Juan-les-Pins and its well-known cape jutting into the sea.

Such a beautiful, authentic city! Cheers from Toronto, Canada!
Oh I miss Antibes!
We don’t blame you…
Gewartet und gewartet und gewartet und jaaaaaa, da kam er - der Türmchenstrand! 👍👍
"Hello" from Prince Edward Island, Canada. I enjoy your videos. They offer a wonderful balance of information and entertainment. Merci.
🤩 thank you very much! Hello to Canada!
Wonderful! I had a lovely time in Menton today thanks to your video on that so am now going to Antibes tomorrow. I am based in Grasse for a few days so am also heading where I hope the sun will be. I have not been disappointed yet! Thank you.
Glad to hear! 😅 Today (Monday) the weather looks kind of bad everywhere unfortunately, but tomorrow and for the rest of the week it should be very good on the coast (Grasse seems to be more cloudy unfortunately, sometimes it’s crazy how the weather can be so different just a few kilometres apart). Anyway, enjoy discovering more of the area! 🤩
Antibes is just beautiful :) went there this summer and loved it 😍
Agreed 🤩😄
Le nomade, cést moi .
Since I've seen beautiful "Rue dÁntibes" in Cannes, I decided to watch few days ago a video about Antibes, so I did .😇 Hoping that the ongoing war in Eastern Europe won't widen to other parts of Europe and ends now; I believe Antibes is my kind of place and also it's between Cannes and Nice .
Keep having fun ladies .👋
Thank you for all the tips! We did the hike at cap d'Antibes today and it was amazing 😍
Glad you liked it!! 🤩😁 enjoy your stay!
Antibes is one of the cities located on the French Riviera in France. Although it is mostly known for its coast, it extends to the hills inland.
During the summer months, it is crowded and French families are the majority. In the evening, you can dine at open-air restaurants in the old parts of Antibes and in Juan les Pins. The city is a fun place for a relaxed holiday.
Merci! Your vídeos are amazing!
Thank you! 🤩
Great video. I’m doing a work trip to Nice but will definitely go to Antibes. Thanks for the tips!
👍 you’re very welcome! 😊
We just visited Renoir's home in Antibes on a Viking cruise excursion. The home nestled in an old growth olive orchard is a real gem.
Definitely a great place! It’s in Cagnes-sur-Mer, not far from Antibes 😉
@@rivierago Thank you for correcting me. It was a nice area all the homes surrounding were beautiful. Will def go back when it's not so hot so I can explore the grounds.
Obrigado pelos vídeos. Amando suas dicas. Em breve estarei pela região.
Thank you! 🙏 have a great trip!!
I love ur videos so much,,,,presentation and content is so so nice❤
Thank you so much 🤩
Hi
Beautiful lady ❤and beautiful places, and your voice it's so sweet ❤ 😊
Thank you! 🙏
@@rivierago you lovely 😍
Your travel tips always come in handy! By the way, have you come across the new V4 of the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane? I recently discovered it and thought it could be a game-changer when it comes to staying organized during trips, just like your tips!
Thanks for your idea, we’ll look into that 😊
I love your videos so much, thank you for your hard work! There is just one thing I'm wondering: What about the toilets? I would love to do that 2h Cap walk, but I need 1h there anyway from the center and I don't know how to handle 3h without toilet. Is there some kind of toilet on the cap tour? Thank you!
I don’t think there is a public toilet anywhere, unfortunately. There are cafes though (at Plage de la Garoupe beach, the starting point), you might ask them or have a little refreshment or even just an espresso to justify using theirs. That’s what we do mostly.
❤❤
Nice
🙏😊
Great video with some wonderful highlights. I'm really looking forward to visiting Antibes at the end of May! One small point though - F Scott Fitzgerald wrote The Great Gatsby 12 years before he wrote Tender is the Night. It was Tender is the Night that was inspired by Antibes, not Gatsby.
Oh my goodness!!! Did we really mix that up 🫣… thanks for rectifying!!!
@@rivierago it’s still a fantastic guide 😊❤️
@@judemachin8650 🙏😊
Thoroughly enjoying your videos as I get ready for 6 weeks in the riviera! I had the pleasure of working there last fall and get to do it again this fall - and you’re giving me all kinds of ideas to explore that I didn’t see then! Please keep making them! Cheers!
Thank you so much! 🤩 yes, we’ll keep showing you places we love - still so many things left to film in this amazing region…
PS: have a great time back here!!!
🙏🏼
👍🏻
The true "antibois" knows for ice cream the best is Gelateria l'Albert 1er, as the founder of the former is now making the ice cream in the latter ;-)
Ha, thanks for the tip! We have never tried that one and didn’t know it was a classic! We’ll check it out 😊
^can you visit Cannes and Antibes in 1 day without rushing?
Hey, yes, you can, definitely! Up to you if you want to spend more time in one place and take your time to go to the beach and discover everything - or if a walk to discover the downtown area is enough for you. Both is fine, really up to you how much into detail you want to go 😉
Is it possible to visit the Eder Roc Hotel as an ordinary tourist?
Possible to visit in the sense that you can have a drink or a meal in one of the restaurants (check for opening hours in the winter - and dress up a little), just wonder around not really.
Lovely! How does one find a job in Antibes?
Thanks!! There‘s lots of jobs in yachting in Antibes 😄😉
@@rivierago ah yes...but alas, my field is biotechnology....any ideas? I´m coming to Montpelier in early June and then hope to go to Aix en Provence and see some places in Provence, then along the cote d´azur up to Nice, seeing the different towns, villages, and resorts, while ofcourse following your great videos and tips along the way. I would love to find a job in the Cote d´Azur, but I think it´s very tough...
@@LaChicaconSuerte-1111 actually check out the tech parc Sophia-Antipolis (just north of Antibes)! They have companies in your field of expertise!
@@rivierago thanks, I had a look, but their website is really strange...no proper list of companies...but I may call them up!
@@LaChicaconSuerte-1111 did you check this website: www.sophia-antipolis.fr/en
