Eagle can chuck a disc like Simon. That kid is just as insanely powerful, and he's even younger.
Agreed, Eagle is certainly a young star in the sport and he's only maturing more and more. Look forward to seeing him throw for years to come. It's awesome that him and Simon play together all the time, which is why I especially enjoy seeing them together on a card.

World record is over 1100 feet I believe. Probably one of the farthest if not the farthest pull in tournament play though.

It's an incredibly long drive for sure, but realize that the distance the disc traveled isn't actually 720 feet. Simon threw along the straightest path to the basket, which takes you over OB almost the entire way. The 726 measurement on the hole assumes you follow the fairway up the center, then turn left for your second shot. They don't measure routes over OB when determining the length of a hole. Either way though, one of the farthest, gutsiest, and most impressive golf shots you'll ever seen in a tournament.

I get that, but even at the old basket. For the people going for par the hyzer puts you in the perfect landing zone. Taking the building out of play.

He didn't actually. The hole measures 726 feet, but that's not "as the crow flies". The measurement assumes a mortal route, which is two legs of basically a left angle that leads to the basket. Simon threw the hypotenuse of that angle, which is the only way that it's possible. As mighty as Simon is, there is no human on Earth currently who can throw a disc 720 feet on a Hyzer flip like that. I suspect the total distance covered was 600 feet though, which is out of the range of nearly everyone on tour. It also takes HUGE balls to even go for that, especially when a 3 on the hole is relatively pedestrian.
@@Thebrianweissman It's 661 feet as the crow flies, according to my non scientific google maps measurement. But I think the disc flew a tiny bit further when you account for curves. Plus altitude. Just amazing.
