Thanks for the video...I never grew pomegranates before, and didn't know what the seedlings look like. Your video confermed that my sprouts are in deed pomegranates.! Thanks again because I thought they were weeds and was about to pitch them.😊👍

Howdy Kit!👋 I did find this one very interesting. I need to add a couple of pomegranate bushes to our landscaping. I tried growing last year and got them pretty far...your info will certainly help me be successful this year. 🙂 It would be helpful to see a #2 video. Thanks! I really like your videos...you explain everything so well and give us good visuals.👍

Oh, you're growing pomegranates as well? That's great! I'm hoping that I can get mine through the Southern Germany winter. I should be able to provide the winter temperatures it needs (around 5 degrees Celsius, give or take) but I'm still nervous about our nights dropping down to -10... I hope you won't face the same issues as I do.
Anyways, I wish you good luck for your pomegranates ^^

Good luck with yours mate, I decided to dispose of mine because I have nowhere to keep them over winter, it’s gets down to about -10 here in wales uk too. I might try them again when I’ve got more room and can heat the greenhouse.

Hi Kit, do you intend putting these in your garden? Are they going to produce fruit! On another topic do you have a video of your grow light/ heat setup? I think I’m in need of something, I’ve only got a very cold shed (and no sunny window cill that SWMBO would let me use!)

Hi mate, yeah if I can keep them going I’ll put them outside but it was more of an experiment than anything. I’m not sure if they’ll ever produce fruit or how long until they do.
I’ll do a video on my grow light setup soon, I’ve had a bit of interest in it.

I always start all my seeds in paper towels. I feel it’s better

I use to do it quite a lot but not so much anymore, it is more fun but definitely more work if your sowing lots of seeds.

I’m sure you could sow the seeds directly if it’s warm enough, mine never seem to live long here in the UK, I think it’s too cold for them.

Hi Kit, my seeds started well, then I potted them up, and again, they started well, but now they are struggling! .. a couple have died! ... do you think it was too cold in my London UK apartment? How can I keep them going? What can I do? Any suggestions? I am so disappointed!

Hi Tanya, I’m not sure sorry, the same thing happened to mine both times I’ve tried growing them. Maybe there’s a hardier variety more suited for us in the UK.
