It is impossible to forget you Elvis. We'll always love you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Elvis..the best live performer of All times..
This song brings tears to my eyes every time! The ultimate love song! His voice, oh my word! Absolutely gorgeous and wonderful, just like Elvis!
AND this version was sung LIVE! That’s all I need to know to realize that was right up in “A” rank for me, personally..
@@iblogthereforeiam4267 I agree! A rank for sure!
If we are ranking the voice and not the actual song it's self. This isn't A rank... It's S Rank. No one on the planet could sing this better 🌏
@@SephPlays love it!!
How beautiful is this song, and Elvis sings this to perfection. His voice is amazing and so too the orchestra. I love it! This man is perfection for sure. Volcano!! 🎶🥇🌋
Beautifully sung by "The Elvis!" Our One and Only! He will never be forgotten ❤!!!
No one could sing it better than Elvis. Such a beautiful love song.
The elvis could sing anything didn't matter what kind of music he could make it magical !😊❤
It's absolutely impossible not to love Elvis. He sings this with such gorgeousness my soul trembles with adoration and appreciation. What a voice 💯⚡❤️
Elvis said he treated every show like it was his first time because most of the fans had never seen him, and he wanted to do well for them. Many concert songs were one take worthy of release as is.
"The last nine years of Elvis’ performing life, he said countless times in the middle of a song: “Play it, James.” Burton noted, "I still hear it every now and then. And if he were here with us and I could hear him say it one more time, I’d probably give you my new guitar. I miss that man.”.
~ James Burton
P.S. I would sell my soul if you reacted to "How Great Thou Art" live from Hampton Roads. 😊🙏⚡️
Interesting 🤔. How much for body and soul? Or separately?🙃
I forgot he sang this! Been years since I heard it! But he sang it beautifully as usual.
To not love him and this channel, it's just impossible.
Awe...........the sensitive side of Rob ❤
@@Barbara-lb5yt I'm still a bit mushy since Separate Ways, but I'll be back to my old self soon.
Also impossible to not love your comment.❤❤❤
@@robbansa Can't wait to see your sassiness again. 😀🥰
@@jjbud3124 Oh, if that's all there was, I would settle for sassy..."Rob a very bad boy".......haha 🤭 Aren't your Rob?
I have to be honest Seph disappointed with your D ranking, as this is to me a piece of artistic LIVE vocal perfection. Tender, dreamy , soulful with an exquisite orchestral backing, adds up to total class all the way for me.
🤔gorse, i could Not Agree w you MORE 🫢
Yes!
Makes me feel that I could be totally vulnerable with someone if this was playing! How can a singer do this so powerfully to a person? It's impossible!
Only Elvis !
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL 😍 ❤❤❤❤❤
*YESSSSSSSSS PERFECTION* FINALLY GOT A KEYBOARD YAYYYYYYYYYY
TONNYYYYYAAAAAA!!!! Lovely to see you back
@@SephPlays THANKS BEEN VERY SICK STILL AM LONG STORY LOVE YOU
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww :(((((((((( poor Tonya
@@SephPlays thanks darling adore you
Another gem hidden away . If your not an elvis you would never even know these songs . Glad your getting to know these songs
Nice song - sung beautifully - typical song that was made for Vegas audiences but hey Elvis must have liked it to want to sing it 🎵💙🎶
ELVIS: "Can I hold you closer to me?" (0:47)
SEPH: "Oh, yes, please!"
So sweet...so funny!
"If I had you, could I ever ask for more? It's just impossible!" (1:20) Such a great line. This one beautifully translates the emotions of one's overwhelming desire for another.
As you say, this one is just lush. Hits me in just the right spot. Feels like a wave of bliss washing over me.
Who ever wrote this one definitely has a way with words for sure!
As far as how he seem to never have errors/glitches in his performance, I heard from one of his backup singers that he was a perfectionist, and they would do the same song for hours in rehearsal to get it to his satisfaction.
Oh such a beautiful song,❤ and he sings it so beautifully too, Gorgeous xx
MY BEST FRIENS FAVORITE SONG AKA HARALD / BATTY I LOVEEE HOW ELVIS SINGS THIS JUST SO DREAMY
It’s so tender and warm. Everyone always thinks he’s going to power up all the time, but sometimes a song demands to be just gently sung to show passion softly and real. It gets into your soul. ❤❤❤😊😊
Hi Jeri...Sammy is ok...she just commented on Seph reaction to
" Never Been to Spain".... isn't this song gorgeous....so warm and tender ( your perfect description) dreamy....sigh...❤❤❤
Was best❤ Elvis the best.
Awww Elvis...you melted our hearts.....again.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love the song and performance. Perry Como song from 1968. It was going to be offered to Elvis but given to Como instead. Como had a top 10 hit with it (US and UK). Elvis did it better, although Como had a smooth as silk voice, but no way does he compare to Elvis. Elvis would have had a #1 with it I'll bet.
Perry recorded it in September of 1970. Sid Wayne was a regular songwriter for Elvis, but in this lone instance he gave it Perry first. Elvis didn't do it until Feb. of 1972.
Perry had a renaissance of sorts from the late 60s to the early 70s. Elvis followed Perry a bit with his crooner voice.
I absolutely love this song!! So beautifully sung! SO SMOOTH ❤
This is one of his Vegas performances, we don't know if this was his second show the end of his first show or what. He did a 10 pm show and a 1am show, 7 days a week , every night for 5 weeks straight. Then he go back to Memphis for a few weeks. He sounded a little tired when you consider his powerful voice. Nevertheless brilliant by most standards. Thanks Seph.
This was originally recorded live in Las Vegas in February 1972 for a planned live album called "Standing Room Only", which was to be released in November of 1972, which never came to fruition during Elvis' lifetime, due to the Elvis on Tour movie being released at the same time and Aloha being announced.
I've always enjoyed this one. It's not in my playlist, but I like it. Top 200-300.
It's just okay for me. I'm into Elvis funk at this point with some notable melancholy songs that are sure bangers for me.
Absolutely love this one❤
Aah love this song. Elvis sings so tenderly and beautifully
Always love your enthusiastic reactions Seph to Elvis. Am a huge Elvis fan and do enjoy your real appreciation of the King
B E A U T I F U L.......💕💕💕💕 Thanks Seph!
Just perfection is right 😍 thanks for the reaction 😁
You must react to:
Burning love the nr 1 song of 1972 and of the 70s in my opinion
It s only love the best song of 1971
Always on my mind the greatest ballad of the 70s
I think you will find they are on the list as Seph works through them in order methodically.
I love this so much ❤
LOVELY!
Great reaction Thanks once again Seph. Yours is the best CZcams channel. One good thing about this song is it perfectly fits at the end of side 1 on the album known as the 'Fool' album. (although the record cover just says Elvis) I have a Spanish copy of this album in front of me now Seph. On the back cover above colour pictures of his latest at the time 2 albums: Elvis As Recorded At Madison Square Garden, and Elvis Aloha from Hawaii via Satellite, these words are written: OTROS DOS GRANDES EXITOS DE ELVIS . No idea what they mean! (something about a grand exit maybe!) After each one of the 10 songs on the album the Spanish title is written in brackets. For example after 'Fool' (Tonto) and after this one 'It's Impossible' (Somos novios) Hope you find this interesting ... it's also a 'sharper' in colour cover to the album than the American and English versions. Though recorded in 1972 the album and single of the song 'Fool' were both released to the world in 1973!😀♥
It says "two other great successes of Elvis." According to Google translate.
brilliant - love it
👑✌️
Beautiful ❤
I can't think of a better comment than Rob's, so I will just second it.❤❤❤
Seth i don't always agree with your rankings but you like what you like, I'm so glad I rote rankings right 😂😅😂😅😂😅😂
In the late 60’s this was a Spanish language hit by a Mexican singer. It was later a hit by Perry Como with different lyrics in English. He was known for his overly calm, relaxed and smooth singing style. To rock fans back then, it was sort of troubling to have Elvis doing a song by their grandmother’s favorite singer! I like Perry Como - but it wasn’t Elvis’ best choice of material.
Seph seriously mate
D rank
Are we listening to the same song
It should be on the top
Seph I never disagreed with you in the past
But this time I have to
D rank
No way mate
It's a triple banger
Just listen to that voice
Seph it impossible to give Elvis anything but an A rank 😂
Seph Seph Seph
It's the Elvis
Seph ranks the songs and not Elvis. I wonder how he can do it that way. My E and F ranks would be nonexistent in any Elvis ranking list - even for the lousiest movie songs.
If i ranked how he *Sings* instead of the songs themselves, all of the songs would be in S Rank. That's why i decided early on that it would be more fun to rank the songs. So the lyrics, tune and how it makes me feel are all taken into consideration.
So if it makes you feel better i would rank this in S rank, on his vocal gymnastics and cadence alone 😍
I agree with David..........SEPH HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND????????? Oh, and I still love you. hehe
@@SephPlays His cadence. First time I've heard that in a long while. Yes. He has a way of hesitating a word that grabs attention and puts you on the edge of your seat - creating a kind of suspense in the song. I've heard that described in the past. It is unique.
Why are people still surprised when a song gets low rankings in the C and below, just one quick look at the ranking list and we can see that over half of Elvis' most beautiful songs have ended up in the trash bin.
I understand that he likes Elvis' voice and that's not what gets the low ranking, but still, it is Elvis' music, his legacy, the songs he picked was who he was.
We like what we like, we can't help it, and he can rank the songs the way he feels, but I'm glad Elvis is not here to see this, it would probably hurt him to see how his whole music catalogue have gotten such a negative response and low rankings on most of his songs.
Poor Elvis !!!
It should be impossible 2give this a Drank, its no worse than a c in anyone's language, but that's OK the Seph u dont get it
Elvis just shades perry como on this one,but not my favourite
He does that to everyone.
