Have you or can you make a video on removing the plastic "filler plug" that is found behind the core plug on a early 70's 9.5 carb? A new one doesn't come in the "kit" and I'm concerned about damaging it. (trying to resolve a idle / low speed "cough" or miss. Thanks

+arbor-us lowthers Well, if the low speed needle broke off in the carburetor, then there is probably some damage to low speed orifice. If you remove the low speed plug you maybe able to push out the remainder of the needle. If you are able to remove the broken needle point, then you can replace the low speed/idle needle. You may get lucky and with the new needle you may still be able to get the motor to idle decently. If the damage to low speed/idle circuit is too much, then you will have to find a replacement carburetor on ebay or try posting a wanted ad on AOMCI's classified section. A lot of the hobbyist have parts motors and will sell you carburetor at a much lower price than ebay. The Ask a member portion of the website is very helpful as well. I am member of the AOMCI club. The public portion is free to the public if you register. Please read the rules for post an ad on AOMCI.org classified forum or the add will get deleted.aomci.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=3Sorry that you are having troubles.

    Great video.
I noticed you replaced the float with a synthetic one. Did that one come with the kit? Or do you have a part number for it?
I have tried googling the part number for the kit you showed but I couldn't find one with the float.
    Thanks

love the videos, so nice because i have exact same motor as all this so super helpful thanks for making it. one question tho is i am having a hard time finding the right rebuild kid to buy for mine a lot of places seem like they have ones that are "close" but I really don't wanna buy the wrong one. do you happen to have a receipt or data from when you bought yours for the video to like break it down dummy style for me as far as what company you ordered it from what the kits part number was or whatever just so i am sure i am buying right one? thanks a lot bud
