I have this optic in green and the shield ...I can tell it's a great optic...I put mine on a 10mm.
The best parts of this optic in my opinion...
The iron shield...I'm not sure why some people don't like to use optic shields... everyone wants something rugged and using a metal protective cover ensures your optic will not break in any situation
Trijicon RMR footprint.... By having the RMR footprint it's going to be easy to find adapter plates for nearly any gun
Easy to use.... This optic is very easy to use and not overly packed with features it's just a basic optic that anyone can use
Very bright... The glass on this optic is very clear and the 3MOA dot is very bright plenty of brightness to see even in the sunlight
Price.... I paid $244 for the green optic and the iron shield nearly half the cost of my holosun 508t

From my experience so far it seems to fine enough for concealed carry or range use. I wouldn’t put it on a duty gun but for those purposes i think it’s acceptable.

The one with the green optic are those height sights on the front and back?

I'm between the SF Liberty and Sentinel. It will be going on a S&W Shield with a dovetail adapter plate so the width difference isn't that concerning. So I'm leaning more towards the Liberty because I like the top battery location of the Liberty. Did that have any impact on your choice of the Liberty or had you even considered the Sentinel at all?

Haven’t had too much experience with the Sentinel. I also preferred the battery location as well with the Liberty though. I would say window size and battery location were deciding factors for me .

I’m looking at the sentinel as well. Just because it isn’t rated to be dropped from shoulder height doesn’t make it a bad sight. I do wonder about battery life…

    That light is ridiculous

Yeah it’s def not as compact as my TLR7 but I like Surefire’s performance.

@@thearmedasian if it works, it ain’t stupid. It just looks funny.
I have had several people comment on my XDS with a swamp fox sentinel on it, saying that red dots are stupid for a carry weapon. They may be right, but I love it.
