    I’m very new to the binocular game so having a comparison like 8x is good for 300mm glass and 10x is better paired with anything longer has answered my main query. Now I just have to work out whether to go monarch 7 or The HG version...

    As a guide, human eyes are about 50mm. Using 8x is approx 400mm lens and 10x is about 500mm.

    small binoculars have an unstable image, it shakes, what is the image of the Nikon 6x15micron, is it stable?
