November Wave Foiling at Kanaha, Maui, Hawaii.

November is a great month to get a nice balance of both wind and waves for foiling on the north shore of Maui.
I tried to capture a few different types of days to give you a feel for what you can expect.
On a foil its always fun!!

nice video been to Maui many many times since the 80s to windsurf but not in the last 5 years, maybe this spring with some foiling lessons

I would encourage you to try foiling it turns iffy waves and wind into lots of fun.
IMO it's easier to learn to fly on a windfoil than a wingfoil if you know how to windsurf. Although jibing on a wing can be easier to pick up because you do not have to switch your feet. That said it I figured jibing out in short order on a windfoil but only because I removed my foot straps.

so cool, this was my first Spot in Hawaii and it was fantastic, so many nice People there. It was 1998

Thanks, it still is a great spot, just now most people are on foils. And many of the same folks are still there from time to time. Like me :)

@@adrianhessels839 I love to Foil cince one year and i have problems to go back on finn. I came back to Maui in 2018, unfortunately the wind wasn't good enough for me to surf, but we stay again on so many wonderfull places. Maui is just amazing, i will come back one day.

what size and brand front wing were you riding?

SAB 945 which is about 1300 cm2. It really behaves well coming down the swells and takes nothing to get going.
