I‘m really happy with my purchase. Looks awsome and the function with braking and turn lights is fantastic. If you consider this helmet, don‘t forget the remote. The only thing I‘m missing is the possibility to order a second holder for the remote.

Received mine in Australia in blackbird colour. Great quality helmet that out ranks anything currently on the market. Just waiting on the remote because without it the brake light won't work.

Love it. Almost perfect for me, wish it could have Bluetooth for when I listen to music or answer calls. It would also be nice if the helmet could be a communication system for a group of bikers like the Sena helmet.

Just got mine that I intend to use for esk8. Love it. Maybe make the opening for the charger a hair bigger so I can use my cord of choice. Thing is slick. Good job Faro

Got mine with the MIPS few days ago ahead of my bike coming in near future. All good but advertising it as a IP6 waterproof wasn’t clear enough. The two ventilation strips on the top certainly will get your head wet during a rain. You should have included some silicon tops to cover in case of a rain. Certainly we can survive a light rain but the whole point is to not get wet at all.
I think they meant the helmet is waterproof. It does not make you waterproof.
I have been riding since 1968. I have never owned or worn a bike helmet. Two reasons, I don't feel 'unsafe', and as you touched on, most helmets are just plain UG UG UGLY.
I am not considering getting a helmet anytime soon, but if I decide on an epic cross country ride, I WOULD consider this one from 'Looks' alone. The other features are very welcome bonus.

the indicators could be much better. i think drivers will think just some fade lighting. also what about the drivers opposite the rider. that's key at intersections?
Since Winter is nearing itself, i am looking for a new ski helmet i can use for my snowboarding, given that i already bought the faro bike helmet to use f9r summer riding, my eyes lit up while watching the video when i heard about the ski helmet. Although, I cant find it in the website nor anywhere.

Is this only a cool helmet or also a safe one?
Hi Tim! It's not only cool but also VERY safe. It has an Always-On Safety System. This means it protects you at all times: before, during & after an accident.
BEFORE - by making you visible: FARO´s integrated lights make you more visible and its automatic brake lights and turn signals make you more predictable. This can prevent accidents in the first place!
DURING - by protecting your head: It uses anABS hardshell and internal EPS liner to absorb the impact. We also have the MIPS system as an optional upgrade: this is a low friction liner inside the helmet that allows for micro-rotations, absorbing even more energy and making the helmet safer.
AFTER -by calling for help: Accidents can still happen, so if they do, FARO can detect a hard fall and, should you be unresponsive after a 60-second (customizable) countdown, send out an SOS text message to your emergency contact (including your location!).

Does the brake light function via an internal motion sensor or a click button under the brake handle?

I would love to see a video showing more women wearing this. Because my impression, looks good on men, but is it gonna look good on women? Women typically have a small head. Show me that your helmet also looks good on women, then I'm sold. Yes, I'm in the market for buying a new helmet. I love the design and the cool stuff that comes with this helmet. But not sure if it's going to make look like I'm carrying a headstone on my head.

@@VtotheKallday Having a woman shot in a splash of fewer than 1 or 2 seconds here and there in the span of 2:40 minutes video is hardly representing a woman wearing this helmet. My first impression of this helmet, "it's a helmet designed for a dude by a dude." Too bad, the helmet looks good and full of bells and whistles, but it doesn't showcase to me how good a woman wearing it. The advertising of this helmet is geared toward men. This is constructive criticism of the brand. Do a commercial featuring women wearing this helmet too, not just a few seconds here and there with a dude as a hero. Unless I was right. it's a men's helmet, women can wear it if they want to look like riding with a mushroom head. It's a great helmet, but I'm not buying it because based on your advertising, this is mainly a men's helmet.

I would not want to wear something that has so little ventilation.
Our ventilation system is designed to be minimally intrusive (so we can keep the helmet clean) but make no mistake: it's powerful. Two hidden intakes just above your eyes suck cool air in and distribute it along the entire inside of the helmet, which is connected to 2 medium vents on the top and 1 large vent on the back.
Your head actually sits on 5 contact areas and all the rest acts as one huge cooling channel.
That's the reason we got away with having fewer gaps without losing much ventilation in the process.
@@UNIT1 Wear it for an hour on a Texas summer day. When it's 98°F and 80% humidity outside. Riding across a midsize town with no buildings over three stories in height. Then tell me it has enough ventilation and I might believe that claim. I'm not trying to be a jerk, just test it in cities areas where skyscrapers are not providing shade and streets don't act like wind tunnels.
@@MrBluemoonhalos We tested it on quite hot days (+ 30C) and in less dense areas and got good results.
Obviously each city is different and each user is different. All in all, the system we are designing for now has been defending itself very well!

Magnetic buckle? WTF! If you get hit hard enough to need the helmet, you won't have it. It will fly one way, and you'll fly the other. When i hit the ground, i want my helmet still on my head. DOUBLE D RINGS FOR LIFE !
