Love your videos. Could you please share how to make your salad dressing? That campground and another in N CA are my two favorite places to be. I recently got a 2015 Sienna XLE after renting a 2023 hybrid. Unfortunately, a mouse got in the headliner for a couple weeks before I figured it out. Now my doors won’t lock, and I have overhead thumping whenever I start my vehicle. For a couple nights I banged the headliner until it dropped. Couldn’t get it out for another few days until I drove quickly over bumpy roads. I’ve learned a lesson, but I’ve not yet got the wires fixed.
We are skiers from the state of Washington and are planning on converting our '22 sienna for this purpose (and surfing!) This winter after downsizing from our '02 sprinter. Your videos are such fantastic inspiration hope to see you on the road, and we'll post a video of our setup to share with you!
The living room set up looks to be ideal and a real compliment to your van build. We were looking forward to getting the new sienna but with the supply chain issues this is difficult . In our part of Canada there is a lengthy wait list and the prices are mainly unreasonable. Great video, thanks.
I am from California too, I own an old Sienna, I don’t do Camping, but I absolutely love nature! I am going to Burney falls soon .Great Ideas about meal preparation for trips I wish I could build my van like yours!
Nice video thank you. Been on the whole foods, plant based, no oil for more than 10 years. Love it, numbers are way down. I am a engineer soon the be retired, all make sense. :-)
Does the new sienna allow you to use the battery to keep the van warm at night when you sleep ? The tesla has a camping mode where it will run all night and you can even watch Netflix on the tesla display.
Hi Ray, thank you for watching. Here is a link to my video in which I discuss the use of HVAC for sleeping inside the van - 2021 Toyota Sienna - HVAC for Camping? czcams.com/video/bngRFxiYagY/video.html Cheers!
Thank you for watching! Yes - it is possible to run HVAC at night. The van’s ICE engine will start every 10-15 min and run to recharge the hybrid battery for about 3-4 min. The engine start/ stops are quite but may wake up light sleepers. We don’t use HVAC at night because most campgrounds have a curfew for running engines or compressors between 10pm and 7am. When camping in the wild this should not be a problem. Cheers!
I have a 2017 Sienna SE and have a bed system. Just wondering if the new Sienna has the same dimensions inside? You are the perfect person to ask because you had the older Sienna and now have the new Sienna.
Hi Darius, thank you for watching! Unfortunately, I did not own an older Sienna, so I won't be able to answer your question directly. Based on volume comparisons between the new hybrid platform and older models the new model has the same or slightly higher total volume inside with second and third raw seats removed. The total length of the cabin from the rear gate to front seats is 96" and the floor to ceiling hight varies from 42 to 47", while narrowest width (between rear wheel wells is 48"). The cabin is widest between sliding doors at about 54". I hope this is helpful. Cheers!
Thank you for your videos. You are so thorough I love it!

I'm intrigued by your screen tent's see-through roof.
Can you tell me the brand name?
I'm having a heck of a time finding it online.
THANKS!!
Here is a link to the tent we use amzn.to/432zZDS. This tent is spacious and easy to set up. Cheers!
@@Tellvia TERRIFIC!! Thanks very much 🌲

Yes indeed you can run A/C or heat all night. The engine will kick on as needed to keep the hybrid batteries charged 👍

Do you let the hybrid run all night? That is what I'm wanting to do.
