Just when I think I've seen the best diy minivan camper out there another amazing build pops up.
The minivan turned rv that I am giving you a tour of today was not built by a fulltime nomad or person living the "van life". Rather, this minivan is the creation of a brilliant electrical engineer, Pascal, who loves to tinker on projects for his weekend camping trips. Diid I mention that he is really into building on a budget and uses mainly recycled and repurposed materials he often finds for free! Here is a link to Pascal's channel Tiny Campers / tinycampersdiy
Given that this camper was built by an engineer it is not surprising that it has all kinds of neat features including but not limited to a
bathtub/shower, a slide out kitchen that can be removed to use in a park bench or table, running water, a Pullout bed that sleeps two ajd has a "wing" extension for comfort and so much more. Whew!!

Pasquale, have you thought about writing how you built each part of your glorious van build. Since you aren't going to build for others. I'm sure people would be willing to buy the instructions. This is the best build that I have seen.

I've seen dozens of van build videos and this is one of the best. So open and uncluttered due to his brilliant use of space.
He doesn't live in his van fulltime...thats an important thing to remember...it is a great build
Oh Wow, this guy is Brilliant; I LOVE this set up! He needs to sell his product. And her questions makes EVERYTHING So Understandable and Complete! I'm Amazed at it's Perfectness, Simplicity, Neatness, and Beauty. WHEN on the market? What about a fridge?

I too have a shower in my 2006 Sienna van and I sit on a foldable stool for showers. I use a one gallon hand pump garden spray as it affords me better flow control based on how much pumps I make. I use Oatey brand vinyl shower pan liner from Home Depot to line the seat well area . I use a standard bath sink drain through an existing hole in the flooring of the van.The entire seat well is available to be used as a shower and when not being used as such then it is used as storage for things I carry. I carry a 21/2 bucket for a loo.

I've seen this gentlemans' video before building this, and it is absolutely amazing.
Pascal has actually redone this van 4 times!!.Can you believe that Each time had a different purpose. One time he did a modular build so everything could be removed. He is doing another build. I can hardly wait to see that one!!

Perfect Pasquel. Finally, a kitchen sink/shower combo.
For full waterproof coverage, why not simply put plastic up high in front water sprayer jug and the hose will fit through the opening when the sides meet?
My ultimate build is combined shower sprayer and kitchen sink on same side.

Cool. This is perfect a DYI MiniVan Camper - super inexpensive setup. It is visually appealing/what he shares is easily understood.
During my Live he was on Pascal shared that he only actually spent about $100 on materials, aside from the electrical system!!

This man is a creative genius!! His "hobby" could make him alot of side money if he wanted.
I like some of the ideas. I think it can go one step further and make it so you have a camper toilet in the 'shower' pan area. Plenty of height to sit on the toilet closed to take a shower. Reality is, toilet is for last resort. Guys can pee into a bottle and dispose discretely when convenient. Camping toilets be cleanout out once and a while as they don't get much use. I'm even looking at sliding plexiglass panels for shower/bath doors. LOL. I'm only 5'6" and although fat, it will give me plenty of incentive to lose weight. :) Oh, and a floor shower drain will mean, no grey water tank. Again, think 'discrete camping'. Backup by a storm drain, you are golden. (walmart parking lots always have storm drains far away from main parking)

Wow! I've watched dozens of various builds for full time and part time nomads, but this is one of the most impressive! Yeah, you could build these for nomads for a living!
Suggestion for openings: cut no-run mosquito netting & affix via magnets. Note: to see dropped magnets at night & protect auto paint: put each magnet in a tiny zip-lock jewelry bags with a squirt of each neon paint & glow-in-the-dark paint.
Love that idea. I have scratched up the paint in my van from magnets.

I knew it could be done I was going to make a custom shower pan however that flooring is less money for the sq ft and way easier And looks nice . I plan on using a pop up show tent for mine

It's certainly a novelty. I can tell you from experience that practically speaking, its not easy working in such a small space when there are two of you. Something like this works ok when you're on your own. I recycled a bug sprayer pump and container for my truck camper build and it worked ok. This build is really clever. Good job.

This is a great build. I have another minivan camper tour coming up.next week that is simply unbelievable. You won't want to miss it. It has a shower too but hot and cold running water without an electric hot water tank or propane and so much more!
