the end of seeking - awakening/non-duality
Vložit
- čas přidán 8. 05. 2023
- There gets a point when there is simply nothing more to do then just let go and relax into what is. Accepting and allowing all of life in all of its forms and not believing it should be or look any certain way. You no longer strive for change or to have certain things, instead you rest back in the only thing that you can ever depend upon. I AM.

In reality, you don't become It, It becomes you, As It. The games and story's of ever being you, are over for no one to notice, thus, the great paradox of awakening. This is true liberation from self, not of self. 💙
100%. Seeking has weight. It is exhausting. When you are ready, you finally realize that seeking is the biggest obstacle.
The moment when your soul finally wins over the ego. Nothing else to do, all weight falls off. What seemed sooo hard to do happens automatically. What a liberation.
what a beautiful moment that is - like a cage unlocking your brain 🧡✨🙏
What is soul and ego ? And what is liberation?
Good

How do you know that there is a soul?
Once we understand that we control our reality and who we are.
Nothing can destroy us
We are what we are seeking. The pursuit is exhausting because it’s an endless chasing of our own tail! The tail is you! 🐕
What if there is no you, then what are you seeking, nothing?

Can't disagree
You just got to let the thoughts and feelings arise and boom that's it..your done and you just carry on
This was amazing! “Ok I’m sad but I’m sad with God” WOW!
I feel like I’m not sad but I’m not happy either how can we possible be happy with so much suffering in the world 🙁
The world is suffering because the world doesn't know how to let go.
And you are suffering for the world because you haven't let it go yet.
This is SO incredibly helpful, thank you so much!! Bless you!! ❤❤❤
Lovely! Nothing special. Nothing separate. Just this is it.
Even surrendering is a bit extra, leaving a duality of surrender/non-surrender. Surrender or not, everything that arises just is.
Likewise, "I am sad with god", although language is a slippery beast so you may have been pointing to the non-separation of god and all that is. However far we get, there always seems to be something more to let go of (at least there has for me!).
Thank you for making this video 🙏
Thank you for sharing ✨🙏🧡

Life isn't a mystery to be solved it's an experience to be lived - how truly liberating it is, to just let go and realize that every thing we seek, is already within us. 💫☺💫
Loving blessings to us All. We are truly amazing Beings
We really really really are ✨❇🌠
I know right! how wonderful to realise it has always been within us - truly liberating 🙏🧡✨
Thank you for sharing. It's amazing how many of these videos are popping up. It appears a wave of spiritual awakening is coming over us. Blessed Be
Thank you. I needed to hear this today.
blessings to you 🙏🧡✨
Thank you so much for this! I’ve been searching for meaning everywhere and trying to constantly improve myself but I haven’t got no where by doing this. I feel like I’m dying and there’s a feeling of depression, but being reminded of this feels liberating! It’s okay if I feel depressed, I’m depressed with God!🤩
Exactly - there is no judgement of any thing. If you feel depressed then great - that is just another feeling. It's our resistance and mind chatter that this is bad that causes the discomfort and grief. When you embrace it and see it from a neutrality of - wow I'm feeling depressed with no story attached that's when the real magic can start 🧡☺️
❤️❤️❤️honestly this couldn’t have come at a more perfect time
This is exactly what I am feeling right now
Just so so DONE and exhausted with this life battle
And yes always seeking well why’s this happened I must be still holding on to another emotion
I ll have to find out why
And let go
But it goes on and on and on til now I m just done !!!!
I agree, at a certain point the desire to get rid of any emotion (sadness, fear, etc.) has to end, but to me, this is really when the real investigation into the emotional realm can start. Before I surrendered to being the background/everythingess I couldn't introspect with any freedom because of the existential claustrophobia (i.e., believing to exist within the "cage" of the mind, as you say). However, once you are awake to the ultimate freedom/security you can really begin honestly looking at the conditioning and subliminal programming of the body-mind complex. The difference then is that you're so much more free to be honest with yourself in the security of beingness than before. You start from peace and happiness and therefore can investigate out of true curiosity and be truly open to whatever you find (and also open to the potential that you may not be able to resolve some psychological phenomena).
Great video though-- I hope this doesn't come off as critical, just sharing my thoughts on this journey 😌👍
I agreed with you on this. I got the same thinking as I watched this video.
No worries at all it's been so brilliant to read your account, and your understanding - thank you for sharing.
I totally understand what you are saying - when you are aware or in awareness you can then investigate with the light and curiosity you mention.
In my account I had done two months of investigation into my beliefs, thoughts and shadows. And throughout that I slowly was becoming more aware or living in my awareness, until eventually I saw that the thoughts and beliefs of the ego were never going to end. That they would continue to be there and that I could be at peace with their existence. In essence 'giving up' doing that exploration work. But as always that was just my experience. It's not a hard or set rule by any means. Just a way of sharing :)
Thank you for taking the time to comment and express your experience, I really appreciate it. 🧡✨🙏
You really hit the nail on the head with this one. This resonated on an intuitive level. Thank you

This was a breath of fresh air hearing this , thank you for the video
yes, seeking has endings and new beginnings, but meditation is eternal and ever present
Yes..... Listening to CZcams videos about awakening seems to have lost its appeal. Awareness IS - and that's all there is. Nothing to seek any more. Just be. Best wishes to you x
Whatever feels right in the moment is what you should explore - there is a season to everything ✨
non-duality has taught me to drop the labeling of anything. No egoic "good" or "Bad" its just an event. You can sit with it, then move on and go with the flow.
It just is what it is.

I completely get it:D It's awesome not to judge hot or cold, calmness or agitation. The unjudging reaction to whatever comes up teaches the brain, that ur not in danger, the mind becomes more calm and empty.🥲Love it and practicing✨.
That's beautiful.

It's really good to get such great content on You tube.

You are entirely speaking from your head. No embodiment at all. Now the journey south can begin.
And what makes you qualified 🤓😳may i ask 🤓
It's interesting that this is your interpretation.
ACIM teaches us that what you see in others you see in yourself. May I reflect back to you your projection?
Do you often speak from your head, instead of embodiment?
Do you judge yourself for this?
Have you headed south yourself yet? Do you perceive yourself to have not done that?
And why is speaking from the head any different from embodiment? - isn't it all the same? It's all one.
May I recommend doing a radical forgiveness letter by Colin tipping on what my video has brought to you. Forgive me for my trespasses and you will forgive yourself for yours 🧡
Thank you for bringing this to my attention - I will think on these questions myself - blessings to you ✨🙏🧡

@@flowingthru6793your an odd one aren’t you.
Hi. This is my first comment in youtube and I 100% understand what you are saying. I accept everything and surrender to what comes my way. I can 100% relate with your journey and you articulated it really well. I take the good days same as bad because they co exist. I have 4 journey mentors and have been diving into a lot of books. This is the missing peace to my puzzle. Psychology, psychiatry, emotional agility, neuroscience and spirituality as the missing piece to find peace.
What you learnt from Psychology and psychiatry become a hindrance, what you seek can't be learnt from books, can't be taught by mentors,it can only be experienced.Books and gurus can lay the foundations, but there is nothing to learn, only unlearned, and nothing to gain because you already are,it's not be discovered, but uncovered.
Great first comment! Don't let anyone else tell you how your path should be (although listening to trusted mentors is always good). Sometimes we need to go through psychology and other disciplines to find ourself where we are. Ideas can become a hindrance but they can also be a springboard.
I don't mean to sound critical and correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not sure you do understand what she's saying. She's saying while there is a time and place for some of the stuff you've mentioned, the real wisdom comes when when you stop trying to find answers, to put together the puzzle, to figure it all out. Not because you've found all the answers (because that will never happen) but because you realise that there is nothing to "do" or to "find" - you already have the answers within.
Your job is to "let go" (give up, as she says) - stop seeking so hard and trust the process, the universe, and surrender to the experience, which is where the true learning is. Endless mentors and books and logic and reason is all mind based, all ego based seeking of an answer. But you can have all the knowledge in the world, it won't free you unless you embody that learning, which begins by stopping trying to work everything out. That's where you uncover peace (it's not something you find, it's already within you) - not through psychology, neuroscience etc. Although for many (including myself!) we have to inquire into those things before we reach the realisation that none of them hold the answer.
@micvi yu Thank you for sharing - it's wonderful that you've found something that resonates so wonderfully, and reflects your experience. All paths lead to Rome! I used to be a Christian and that knowledge/learning has been incredibly useful in understanding ACIM, and other spiritual practices/guidances. Brilliant ✨🙏
@Timothy phoenix Perfectly said, thank you so much for articulating so well - I appreciate it ✨🙏

Such beautiful words and explanation 🥰🥰
Thank you so much 😀
Well said, this is exactly what I'm going through right now but I know how hard it would be to try to put it into words. The background witnessing truth of God is always there and now the mind just relaxes and this quiet truth seems to come forward a little. So, l repeat, well said.
There is no seeker. There is nothing to be sought. ❤ everything and nothing is the perfect way to summarise my experience of satori.
It can't actually be explained. The explanation only takes you further into the illusion.
I love your channel. ❤ Thank you x
very true - language is just another illusion of ego. It's difficult to explain the unexplainable but hey ho what can we do 🙏🧡✨
@@flowingthru6793 the funny thing is that there is nothing to explain and nobody to explain it to 🤣.

@@flowingthru6793did you ever get to a point where you felt that you didn't even have the energy or the strength to give up? I've glimpsed my true nature. It's almost as though the ego is holding on for dear life. Creating fear and anxiety. I can't seem to energetically shift out of it. It's as though the trying to is the reason I can't.
I need your opinion and your advice. I can see In your eyes and your voice that you have been here. You've been through the fire I'm currently in.

Not doing is another form of doing. Letting go and not letting go can happen yet no-one has ever done either.
Your words remind me of the teachings of Alan Watts. I can see kindness in your eyes. Amor fati.
Very good letting go is magic !! I keep doing positive things with negative thoughts one day at a time … BLISS !!
Wow, try surrendering all our concepts and attached identity to all people, places, things, times and events. Feels amazing but sometimes slippery ego pops up, lol🙏💗
Yes it can certainly do that - as long as you believe you reside in a body your ego will surely be there. These are beautiful reminders that we are still believing in a dual world. That things are happening to us by other external issues.
It's wonderful to hear the success of your surrendering - wishing you all the best 🧡✨🙏☺️
religions seperate people and god from them.but when you realize god within everything you will have god's peace forever.what a big gift without doing anything so hard.i know this is a belief too but it feels great.i prefer to believe this thought to end of my body life.because other belief systems did not work for me.
Well, the technique is correct if you do it like this.
When I’m sad.
Ask “who’s sad?”
Really searching to see where this I is at?
Then Realized that “I” is not the body
“I” is not the feeling
“I” is not the perception
“I” is not the thoughts and emotions.
Because all these are temporary.
Then realized that I’m the permanent background awareness of all of these temporary objects.
Then realized that this sadness is just a thought placed on a particular sensation in the body at this particular time so there are no
more fear of this sensation of energy flowing through the body at this time.
This is the basic non dual arithmetic.
What you are doing is that you are doing higher math because you have practiced this for so long that you can naturally skip these steps.
This is not good for people who just start out because their habitual thoughts will attach strongly to their feelings as me or mine. They will have to go to these steps to reconditioned their neuro connection before they can just jump in to just feeling the emotions without attachments to the false “I”
Yes I agree with you completely - I will make a follow up video. For me this video came to me after two months of struggling with a specific egoic thought pattern, and I did do plenty of clearing and self-enquiry work on it. Eventually, after 2 months, I got the strong desire to just let it all go - I was able to see past the illusion I had created and attached to. However, this only came after that deep exploration work I had done! Thank you for reminding me of this point - I really appreciate it ✨🙏🧡
Wow thank you!! Have a nice day :))
The purpose of life is to ‘be’ happy, hopefully blissful. What gets in the way of your happiness?!? Your mind - the mind that both creates suffering and then suffers it 🥴 So what’s the most direct ‘path’ so you don’t fight the mind nor have to invest in tons of spiritual teachings?!? Do NOT engage with the endless chatter of your mind. Yes, go to work, eat, sleep, etc., (survival) but any other thought is a trap 🪤 and will bring you unhappiness… The cheat-code is to only be the observer (awareness) of your thoughts, but don’t get involved - just ask “is this a helpful thought?” and then disengage. Be Happy - it’s what you already, always am 💗♾️
Thank you for your sharing, I appreciate it. From my experience awakening didn't cease my suffering. I still was engaging in a world through the perception of my body which was filled with false beliefs. Just like Byron Katie, I had to continue to investigate these beliefs. Sometimes just disengaging from thoughts is not enough. They hold us tightly to separation and loneliness. Sometimes we have to shift through it using progressive tools from ACIM, EAM or The Work. There is nothing wrong with the path you follow - for all roads lead to awakening. We all have our own paths. If your way is working for you then that is truly wonderful.
And I don't think the purpose of life is to be happy, hopefully blissful - I perceive it to be awakening to our true self. To knowing that we are the divine creators of our lives. That everything is nothing, and nothing is everything. In many ways happiness is too simplistic a term. To egoic a term to describe the knowing of truth. But you're right in order to get to a state of knowingness we have to no longer identify to the mind. For the mind only knows uncertainty.
Thank you again for your wonderful comment - it has brought much up in me to contemplate and look through - blessings always ✨🧡
“When someone is searching,” said Siddhartha, “then it might easily happen
that the only thing his eyes still see is that what he searches for, that he is
unable to find anything, to let anything enter his mind, because he always
thinks of nothing but the object of his search, because he has a goal, because
he is obsessed by the goal. Searching means having a goal. But finding means
being free, being open, having no goal. You, oh venerable one, are perhaps
indeed a searcher, because, striving for your goal, there are many things you
don’t see, which are directly in front of your eyes.”
From "Siddharta" by Hermann Hesse.
yes! i understand! thanks!
What's really happening is a natural product of the process of self-inquiry, where eventually one reaches a point through the process of investigation into the nature of present thoughts and emotions where the mind reaches a certain point of equanimity. At this point the ego finds it incredibly difficult to find any thought or emotion to attach to. This too is just a process, and ends with the complete cessation of a sense of separate self. The only way to reach the end is through a willing and deep surrender.
Have you reach this point yet?
@k14michael It's a natural process. You can resist it, but that will be the source of your suffering.

I just want to know if anybody who is still living that have reached this state so that I can ask them to guide us.

Good subject to understand more deeply. The Indian tradition points to the mind as the pathway to find liberation as well as negativity. Using your mind to reach the ultimate truth through meditation, mantra etc. whatever suits you ( your own unique path). Meantime praying on the "Gayathri Mantra" after understanding the meaning of this mantra, gives us the right frame of mind to deal with the day to day.

Yes, good stuff, the only important thing i will add is knowing something conceptually and even experiencing something sometimes is NOT habituating something as your baseline or your effortless, every moment experience. Thats what it takes to achieve 'realization'. So, we have a looong way to go yet, it takes decades, which I think is a needed comment in non-duality or advaita circles.
I disagree, what once took decades can now take months. Who's telling you it takes so long? The thing that wishes to remain but was never there to begin with x
@@flowingthru6793well ok but that’s why I bring this up, it’s a problematic narrative in advaita circles to me. We have this narrative to call off the search & stop saying ‘I’ & then you’re there, but clearly we aren’t there & at best not at all times (including when you sleep). Honestly the teachers are to blame, even the great Papaji was telling his students they were ‘enlightened’ but later they realized they weren’t. Papaji was great but he & new teachers bring forward this narrative & so we follow along as we’re the students, but we must analyze all paths approach & be honest with ourselves & our sangha’s miscalculations (since we follow the spiritual pack like with secular packs). As far as ‘realization’ I follow more of the timing & humble, non attachment to any sign of Buddhism but I am both an Advaitist & Buddhist, I love the Advaita masters & the Bhakti path too. We can be open to ‘sudden realization’ but with spiritual materialism & are super egoic habits, it’s just not the wisest way to approach things, considering that we should deny any feeling (still just dualistic appearances) or sign as that’s more likely to be a miscalculation, or at best an obstacle & attachment that creates pride & laziness, etc…Hey, this is my approach, do you…But I have seen this problem for a long time & so I just present my case to balance the narrative in my opinion…Rick Archer had an amazing joke…They threw a party for enlightened people…And whoever showed up was immediately disqualified! 🤣 That’s so true.

This honestly sounds as though seeking has only just begun. These are exactly the thought patterns I went through when it first seemed as though I was progressing.
Took a while to realise this isn’t even really the beginning of seeking, it’s before that.
All this intellectual knowledge is the breakthrough into seeking. It will take a while for an authentic lacking need for anything.
Good luck :)
Sounds like your own projections
Well, the seeker is the last to die. The voice inside our head seeking when investigated is our last safe spot.
thank you for your opinion - I meditated on the truth of your statement and it doesn't resonate as my truth. You've got a long way to go.
seeking can be put on hold but seeking is a natural activity once you are ready for enlightenment..
And that is true for everyone, of course.
We are NOT Human DO-ings, we are Human BE-ings. Go to the experience of simply being, NOT being SOMETHING but JUST being......What do you find?
THIS is YOU.
YOU are NOT an OBJECT in experience, YOU are the SUBJECT. Cease the practice of FINDING yourself because you have NEVER been WITHOUT YOU. You are THAT which SEES through the eyes that are LOOKING.
The BODY, the THOUGHTS, the FEELINGS and SENSATIONS have ALL changed and are continuously doing so, but what is it that has NEVER changed?
This SURELY must be who YOU are. Aum. 🙏
Yes to me the two main ingredients of consciousness are variety and change and who doesn't love variety and change? Consciousness does not allow for a steady state because this existence is about increasing awareness. There is nothing to do other than be aware and observe how you react and grow with new experiences.
Giving up on the search for FREEDOM .MORE.PEACE ETC ,Can create fear fear that if you give up searching you will not experience the things you have been searching for .for some people giving up the search is a process and not always an event.
Self acceptance/surrender. or change/ego deflation.
Self acceptance is the kinder option and leeds to the change you are looking for but sometimes fear may get in the way until you have had enough of that also.🙏🏼✌️💚

Hey Flo. I liked this speech better. Epistemological nihilism is better in a way though. Human beings are likely structurally limited from knowing everything and so are always faced with the unknown, with brute mystery. It is a humble situation to be in. We can experience knowing more but that does not come with certainty as we can always end up having been wrong or mistaken. So all knowledge gets the status of mere faith in the end. And faith just isn’t a condition of certainty ultimately. I hope you integrate more pragmatism into your evolving worldview. That comes with age often. This video is a step in the direction of integrating pragmatism with religiosity/mysticism. But it can’t transcend the status of faith which is humbling I know
