From one of your earlier subscribers, I am so excited to see that the channel has exploded in short amt of time. You are the best heli reviewer on CZcams thanks. I love the m2 I wish it was belt drive, beside that I go for the 180.

Your videos gives a lot of people a lot of information. A lot of poeple make flight videos of there helicopters, but they do not speak on there flight. After time the videos will get boring. Love your videos because when you fly your helicopters you talk about the helicopter, which make the videos more entertaining. Keep up the great videos, it’s a pleasure you like this hobby a lot just like I do :)

Thank you! Appreciate it, I personally hate videos where people are just flying and they call them a review. When there is nothing explained or said throughout the video. Now I fully understand that when flying 3-D it can be very complicated to try to talk and think the whole time. But if you’re going to make review videos you need to talk and explain the model and or the differences.

I've always been a blade guy but this omp is looking pretty incredible. I like the tail boom and the blades on the omp. It also seems more responsive but that's hard to truly judge by watching someone else fly it on CZcams. And you mentioned you have it fully setup to your transmitter. There is a big reason I'm a blade guy though, I'd never even heard of omp lol! That's just me not getting enough free time now that I'm supposed to be an adult. Plus the shop where I live stocks all the blades and their parts. Parts being available immediately is a pretty big advantage. Not getting omp parts locally is not a deal breaker though. I can wait or plan ahead. But yeah thanks for making this video! You've truly shown me something that I didn't know I wanted until now lol! It would still be difficult to choose one over the other. However, having never flown anything but blade helis I'm really interested in this new (to me) heli.
Side note: the new CZcams zoom feature was extremely helpful for this video. I'm usually always on my phone so now that I can zoom in and see things your mentioning much more clearly. Even during the fights it was handy, to a point.

Great video comparisons.... but the OMP sounds and looks like it handles the wind well. Very Strong motor too. Lesser parts to replace due to the direct drive definitely win many beginner's heart....haha. Thank you for the video!

Thank you! The M2 is definitely the a fantastic heli! Power is crazy and flight controller is super nice! The M2 is definitely my daily flyer just because I have it set to my liking and parts are super cheap! One thing I didn’t touch on in the video and I would like to of is durability. The M2 is definitely cheaper to crash and holds off very well. The reason I did not touch on it is because I have not crash the 180 so I have no say on how it holds it

ive been trying to get into this hobby for two years now. i built one gaui x3 and it never flew right, it would shake in the air and i couldnt tune it out with the brain flight controller. so i bought a pre built gaui x3 and it flew great till i crashed it and had to rebuild it. i also did the same thing with the blade 180 it was the old crappy version. this is the first video that ive heard so much usefull commentary. im gunna have to get the omphobby and see how i can do with that. i build and fly a ton of five inch racing drones and 3d helis just seem to be the holy grail for me i want to fly 3d so bad but i crash every time. i can do it in the sim no prob though. its incredibly hard for me. im so used to just being able to crash without repercussion. thank you for the video!

Take your time and practice how many helicopters are the hardest part of this hobby. But the most rewarding part of a hobby. Crashes happen and can definitely add up very quickly. Definitely practice a bunch on the simulator and learn your orientation! A very important step that gets overlooked a lot. When helicopter crash things get bent, The slightest bend can create vibrations and the helicopters to do weird things. Always make sure that after crash you thoroughly inspect the model and make sure there is nothing bent and or out of whack. Even the slightest little thing that you might think it’s OK it’s not. It doesn’t come overnight and can take some longer than others but if you stay consistent learn your orientation when your basic maneuvers circuits forward backwards inverted forward and backwards before you ever try 3-D. Do you want to be able to put that helicopter anywhere you want while upright before ever trying 3D.

I started learning 3d on the blade 130x and it's always been my favorite heli, micro or bigger. What I did to learn to fly 3d is once I felt truly ready I would fly high to give myself some chance of recovery if I messed up. I don't remember when exactly I started but there was not a panic switch or anything like safe mode. I also never used a simulator, I still haven't. I'm not trying to brag here, I'm just trying to say learning to fly 3d was a lot more expensive back then than it is now lol!

@westhobbiesrc - I have a fusion 180 smart and I’m trying to run opentx on a TX16s with it. I’m having a problem with tail wagging and I think it is related to burning out / binding my first tail servo. I replaced it today and it seemed ok then the tail just stopped responding and the helicopter started spinning. I landed it and I can’t get the tail servo to respond. It isn’t bound, but won’t respond. The TX16 shows it is sending the signal to ch4, but the servo does nothing. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

The fusion 270 is by far my favorite color scheme helicopter blade has made. I really like that yellow and neon yellow green color for helicopters. Vizza Bility is everything! If you can’t see it you’re gonna screw up more and then if you can tell where and what direction the model is at at all times. I see guys flying with no canopy and doing hard smack 3-D and have zero idea how they’re doing it lol because it makes it so much harder to keep orientation when you don’t have a colorful mark to go by. The biggest complaint with the 180 is definitely the choice of colors. But that is being fixed as we speak I got a brand new micro Heli colorful canopy and gonna wrap the tail boom just like the M2 so it will be very visible! I really like the fusion 480 as well! Boy oh boy is that a interesting one...i do like both and fly them alot ..for sure ..the m2 is more versatile and more of a beginning heli but the 180 is cheaper to buy but i think a beginner is going to slame it in the dirt faster than they would a m2 ..the m2 is 10 times easy to program and set up ....i say m2 still:) is better

It’s definitely a hard choice to pick only one between the two. They are both fantastic machines! I enjoy them both differently and in their own way. The 180 definitely flies lighter but I think the M2 definitely has more power. Especially for it only being a 3S helicopter vs a 4s machine.

They’re both about the same. The 50 g heavier it’s not gonna make too much of a difference. Really it comes down to the FBL unit. OMP definitely has a very stable FPL unit.

Wider paddle blades are going to be a lot more responsive at lower had speed and hire her to speed. 150s is still my favourite micro flyer….. easy and quick to repair in the field…. The others… field repair… most likely naaaaah. M1 a M2 great, but have odd quirks as to what likes to break…. I have had a few servos go…tail mount and boom can be very sensitive to any type of impact… Likes to snap of at the body mount… batteries don’t stand up to well to hard 3D abuse… tray mount not the most popular choice….180… is ok… like the tail driven setup… but also not a field repair type Heli..

I have flown the older 150s multiple times. And I can tell you I am not impressed. Now I can’t talk on the new 150 smart but the older 150s are heavy no power and flight performance will never compare to an M2. There is no helicopter that can take a crash after crash without something breaking. The M2 is probably the easiest and fastest helicopter you could ever fix and replace parts on. I have owned both and can personally tell you that the M2 is way faster to repair and fixed in any other helicopter of its size because of the simplicity and fewer part count.

Begginers will NEVER LEARN to fly with such helis......if you want to learn buy a goblin 500 or 570 at least.. small helis like up to sizes 450 (325-380mm blabes) are extremely hard for beginners....500 and up are extremely stable and controllable And of course cable of any kind extreme 3D......i have 6 helis right now 500-570-700... goblins mostly and Two Align.....i consider buy a small like these just to fly out on my balcony and 4s if have plenty of power will be able to do most of 3D manuvers.....,... show us bigger and more pro helis....that small ones aren all the same these days with stabilization etc

You saying beginners will “NEVER LEARN TO FLY” with such helis is very ignorant. You obviously don’t know much and realize that more people get into the Hobby with Blade smaller helicopter lineup and now the most sold helicopter around the M2. It has gotten more people into this hobby than any other helicopter on the market to this day. Do a little research! You obviously have not watched any of my other videos. I have helicopters from nano all the way up to 760. So yeah I’ve shown way more helicopters. No beginner is going to buy a goblin 500 or 570 😂 that is not the way to get somebody into the Hobby. That is the way to make people leave the Hobby very quickly. The OMP M2 is hands-down the best beginner helicopter you could buy regardless of what you think or say. The point of getting into the Hobby is cheap crash costs. If a person goes out and spends $2000 on a helicopter destroys it in minutes because they are again a “beginner”. They’re going to get discouraged very quickly! Especially when the part cost is going to cost you a minimum of $500 on a goblin crash or even a bigger Align crash. The thinking the bigger the better for beginning is old school and obviously you have never messed with the new technology. The M2 flies better than most bigger helicopters out there today and if not better just as good. Even world class 3-D smack pilots can still fly and M2 and have just as much fun is it will do anything and everything you want. Let’s see some of your amazing heli skills! I’ll be waiting for some videos!

Dude okay nice review about characteristic...but.....you need to learn to fly 3D....... I fly since 2014 helis...i own 3x 700 goblins helis 2 aligns 650 + 700 and lately other than these expensive And of course you need serious skills to fly hard without crash and minimum damage starts at least 500usd..... lately I got for fun a full 3D tiny Heli which I LOVED cause even if you crash it it still flying like new even after 100 crashes.... I talk for the XK110 Blast...... but the only thing I m not satisfied is the power . ..of cousin it's only one cell battery but I still can do easily piro flips piro tik tok and rainbows etc but sometimes it's obvious that it lack of power.....so I m looking for something More powerful like the ones you review but I can't see how they perform in hard 3D manuvers to decide etc....this is my complain from the videos i want more extreme 3D tricks and not just flips and simple rolls.....no offense....
