do i need to dump out the oil/water mixture after each use, or can i leave it in for the next use? I don’t want to waste the oils, but i don’t want to accidentally ruin my diffuser by leaving it in when i’m not supposed to. Thank you!!
I got my partner one of these, wrapped up the box and a small bottle of what I'm sure was just an oil diffuser but now I'm wondering if that oil was reed diffuser oil. What's the oil actually called for these electric ones?
I know this is a year late, but if you’re inhaling directly I would say 5-10 minutes. If leaving on in a room, it depends on the size of the room. For a smaller room, 6-8 hours, for a bigger room, up to 24 hours.
@ci rob If anyone is reading this thinking this is relatable: DO NOT more more than a few drops of any essential oil in your diffuser. Breathing in more than a very very small amount can damage your lungs and even your brain if you breath enough over time. PLEASE be safe! With the rise of essential oils i see patients come in all the time with chemical burns and severe reactions to breathing in concentrated oils. Just because it is natural, doesn't mean it's safe.
Perfumes based on oils should work fine, bust most commercial perfumes are based on alcohol and evaporate into the air alot quicker so it might not give the wanted effect
so with these oil diffusers... there is seriously no mechanism to click/twist them shut like a normal water bottle? So the lid is just there for vibes bascially??!?! If it falls down the lid will literally just come off...?
Actually you can use hot water. For me personally, hot water help more of the mist come out of your diffuser. Since the water is warm, it is lighter compared to cold water.

It will evaporate! Clean it every 5 uses! :)
Just leave it in but next use just use like one drop less clean once or twice a month
