Happy Retirement Mickey & Nemo

Our sweet bedbug dogs have officially retired! 11 years ago, Mickey and Nemo joined the code enforcement team at HPD to assist inspectors with locating bedbugs in apartments across the five boroughs. The dogs conducted over 22,500 inspections in their time with the City, resulting in 7500 bedbug violations. We are forever thankful for their many years of service and companionship.
