2:16 this isn't true about CPTSD only developing in childhood. A person can develop CPTSD in adulthood such as refugees, survivors of human trafficking and survivors of domestic abuse. Yes, PTSD is episodic and CPTSD is repetitive. But CPTSD can happen at any age.

Ketamine is a life saving and life affirming treatment option. It upsets me that it's not covered by insurance when we know how effective it is at treating depression. I just finished my series of ketamine infusions this week. I grew up with a mother that had borderline personality disorder as well as multiple addictions. She was in and out of inpatient psych for as long as I can remember and would beat me physically because I was "bad" and didn't measure up to the extremist religious views she held. The abuse went on for most of my life until I was old enough to move out. It was a nightmarish experience growing up and left me feeling like I am a bad person, a loser, would amount to nothing. I couldn't trust anyone (even my spouse of over 13 years) and am constantly afraid of being broke, losing my job, being alone.
If you can afford it and are also struggling, it is worth it. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Our school systems are inadequate. They should have comprehensive education on relationship issues including red flags for abuse, proper sexual precautions. Also this is horrible. Absolutely horrible. WE NEED TO ADDRESS SEXISM AND MISOGYNY. It’s so obvious that she was assaulted and she should not have even had to push for allegations and fear for her life. WE HAVE A SOCIETAL PROBLEM WITH GENDER VIOLENCE THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED ON A LARGER SCALE.

Can someone get a message to Jane. She might have ehler danos syndrome. Eds. Her skin and her long limbs and her pain in knees and hips are possibly hints. It’s genetic so possible relatives have knee pain or Can’t walk upstairs or walk side ways up the stairs. A genetic test can say whether she has it or not. Not many docs treat it so it’s not well known.

I have severe mental illnesses and suffered almost since I was born, it all developed throughout my traumatic childhood. Abusive and ill parents, and severely traumatic upbringing and religious brainwashing. I got worse and worse and had no friends and support and now I’m close to 23. But I can’t get better and I have; severe anxieties, dpdr(every symptom of dissociation), depression and extremely down, and I also have this thing where my relatives/thoughts related to them shows up in my head and I disappear in it without any stop. I also have an undiagnosed sleeping disorder the doctors haven’t found out about, and tried everything but it doesn’t.
I’m suffering non stop 24/7 and don’t know what’s the solution for all my mental illnesses and severe suffering and my sleeping disorder. I was on main medications such as Prozac but it made my sleeping disorder worse, killed my sexual ability(I already suffer with that part too) and it made me like a zombie.

I wonder if you had ever tried fascia release work? I know that massage therapy does work on the fascia too, however, maybe a fascia release specialist therapist would give you even more results. Another therapy you might want to consider is called "Biofield Energy Tuning." It can help release stored emotional, & physical trauma from the body. Check out Eileen McKusak's YT channel, who is the Pioneer of this healing modality. I wonder if you had given any thought to finding a really good, experienced Chiropractor. That could probably really help you out tremendously.
I also had a question in regards to your traumatic brain injury do to the abuse you suffered. When the Dr.'s confirmed that there was no way your injuries could have been sustained by the "alleged falls" that your abusive boyfriend said that was what happened to you, what kind of trauma did they say was indicative that would cause your severe brain injury?
Off topic, but must be mentioned, Kalie is absolutely a beautiful doggy & so very sweet. If I was being interviewed, I'd have a really hard time not petting her the entire time!

I have to admit it could be worse if you could imagine a person like that was homeless and not getting treatment. I know this sounds like a highly unlikely number but 50% vets go through this. The Problem is they're self medicating. I choose not to do that at a big price. I'm under treated with respect for what I do have. But most people are still going along with what the C.D.C. influences into law and let's not forget how big pharma works hand in hand as if they were playing pocket pool and probably are ? as they rig market with Fake statistics just for a lucrative status quo. So they may see in the medical record that needs help and there is appropriate treatment as in this video but it's highly unlikely but it will rehabilitate people. let's face it coming from personal experience head injuries don't just go away.
I would have a hard time getting on camera and doing a segment ketamine treatment as the public needs to know in my opinion. I would look into it in hopes to have something that is meaningful in my life.... But here in the capital of California known as Sacramento if you reach out for help they can also label you as a drug seeker.

So sorry. I appreciate your speaking up and being a voice for so many voiceless.
I suspect many veterans have cPTSD from their childhoods and then endured adult trauma on top of that. Our mental health system is so messed up. Self medication vs big pharma and insurance co. driven mandates vs enduring severe psychological pain.
Ketamine is crazy expensive...available to wealthy for a decade. Now Johnson and Johnson have patented some "Form" of Ketamine that they claim is just as good as what the wealthy have had access to but I do not believe it and besides it is not available to most people, those in severe need with no other resources to help buffer the pain or help them cope.

Just to let you know Medcircle : this is well description of , ““Ketamine is a parenterally administered, general anesthetic used largely for short term diagnostic and surgical procedures, but which has been limited in use because of its psychological side effects including vivid hallucinations, agitation and confusion. Ketamine also has major abuse potential and is used illicitly as a recreational drug. Long term ketamine use can cause inflammation and irritation to the urinary bladder and urethra, and similar changes have recently been described in the biliary tract, resulting in an acute or chronic cholestatic liver injury that can resemble sclerosing cholangitis
